Nicole POV
"You shouldn't have done that, Nicole." Justin sighed, gently dabbing the large cut over my cheek. "I wasn't going to let her do that to me in my own home, with my daughter upstairs, Justin!" I snapped. "But she was just trying to protect me." Justin replied. "If you're going to protect her, get out. I'll take care of myself." I replied in annoyance, snatching the swab and attempting to stand up. I hissed at the pain in my ankle where Selena kicked me, but still tried to stagger away. "Please stay." Justin said softly, taking my hand and gently sitting me on the couch. "We'll take you to get that ankle checked out tomorrow, I'm staying the night to make sure you are okay." Justin said, taking the swab and wiping my cuts. "Alright..thank you." I replied. Justin stuck his tongue out in concentration as he placed bandages on my cuts. "All done." Justin declared, tossing the trash from the bandages aside.
"How am I supposed to get upstairs? I can't even stand up." I exclaimed in despair. "Like this." Justin replied softly. "Wha-" I started, but I interrupted myself with a yelp of surprise. He slid his arm under my thighs, another wrapped around my torso and he pulled me to his chest. I was squirming and wiggling in discomfort, it was awkward. "Stop squirming, before I drop you." Justin teased, loosening his grip on me. "Drop me I will punch you." I replied, gripping on his neck. He walked to my room, and gently placed me on the bed. "You need to change, you aren't sleeping in those clothes."Justin says, opening my closet. "Uh, I'll change by myself." I replied quickly. "Okay. It's not like I haven't seen you without clothes." He shrugged, and tossed me the clothes. He waited outside the door, while I changed.
It was some simple blue lounge shorts, with a pink tank top. I slipped in the clothes, and let him back in. "Watch some tv, I'll get you some tea." Justin ushers, handing me the control. I got under the covers and switched on The Boy in the Striped pajamas. This movie is extremely sad and I always cry. Justin came back in the room with a cup of tea and a couple cookies on a plate. "It's oolong tea, I threw in some cookies." Justin said, carefully passing me the cup of tea. I nodded and sipped the hot tea, the warm sensation feeling good in my aching body. "Do you have anywhere I can sleep? I'll sleep on the floor if you want." Justin offered. "No, you can stay on the bed. Just stay on your side." I smiled softly.
"Thank you." Justin replied, tugging off his shirt, revealing a tight tank top. I scooted over on one side, letting Justin have some space. I sipped my tea and chewed on a cookie whilst watching the movie. Nearing the end, I got sleepy. "Go to sleep, it's okay." Justin whispers gently, taking the tea cup and shutting off the tv. I nodded and yawned, curling up in the sheets. "Goodnight..." I said sleepily, before falling asleep.

Sunlight shined on my face, making me groan. I rolled over and faced the wall, and scooted over slightly. I was pressed against warm body heat, I was sleepy so I didn't think about it much. They were warm and that's all that mattered. "I have to go to the bathroom...could you move over?" Justin whispered in my ear. "Oh my god....I'm sorry about that it's just you were warm and I forgot and..sorry." I said, quickly sitting up and moving over. I feel like a moron. "It's fine, I was hogging the blankets." Justin replied, starting to make the bed. "I'm going to change, can you...." I gestured to the door. Justin nodded and stepped out the door. I locked the door, and tatted to take off my clothes.
I took off my pajamas, and pulled on a plain white shirt. I put a blue jumper with crows on it over the shirt. I pulled on a pair of black skinny jeans. I put on a pair of socks, and a pair of floral vans. I put on some lip balm, and some cuffed leaf bracelets. I opened the door and went out, Justin wasn't there anymore. A warm aroma filled my nose, and it smelled good. I held on to the wall as I walked to the kitchen.
"Morning mommy!" Delilah said, still in her pajamas. "Morning Del, pancakes?" I questioned to Justin. "Nope, blueberry waffles. " Justin replied. "You didn't have to, I could've cooked." I said. "Too late, sit down." Justin said, ushering me to sit down. "When did daddy get here?" Delilah asked. "Last night, he was lonely." I lied. I didn't want to expose Delilah to what happened. "Oh." She replied simply, and kept scribbling in her my little pony coloring book. Justin slid a plate with a couple blueberry waffles on it. I thanked him, and drizzled syrup on the waffles. "How did you know where everything is, anyways?" I asked cutting a piece of the waffle. "It was weird, I just knew where everything was." Justin shrugged, handing Delilah a plate with a waffle. "Cut those up, please." I said before I put the piece of waffle in my mouth. He nodded, and used a butterknife to cut the waffle in bite size pieces. He drizzled some syrup on the waffle, and put the plate in front of Delilah.
