Chapter Thirty Four
"These Pot noodles are expired," Aaliyah had explained, flashing them at Wesley's very beautiful face. "They expired last year."
"Year?" Wesley had repeated, taking them away from her after she had given them to him. "No, that can't be correct. We double check the expiring dates."
It had seemed pretty correct to Aaliyah, with Wesley not realising that she had completely manipulated the expiring date online.
It had looked really believable too.
Aaliyah was absolutely amazing with computers, thanks to some TV shows as well as Lisa, who was finally good for something.
She was good at a lot of things to be honest, but Aaliyah didn't really take any of this into consideration because she was kinda jealous of her.
"Yeah, well you didn't double check this one, so what the heck have you got to say to that?"
Wesley didn't say anything, suggesting that maybe he should have used a machine to check that this was all right.
When Aaliyah had heard that though, she had freaked out because she didn't know anything about that.
Not only that but if someone had found out that she had manipulated the date then she was dead meat, both her and Brandy.
"You ain't gotta check no machine, I'm telling you now that this pot noodle is one year expired."
Actually he didn't have to check the machine apparently- they had never ever given anyone expired food.
Most especially one that was a year old, plus it had seemed fine.
But just because it had seemed fine didn't necessarily mean that it was actually fine, with Aaliyah having a go at Wesley for all of this.
This had happened for a long time to be honest, long enough for other staff members to get involved in the whole thing.
Brandy in the meantime was trying to switch off the CCTV cameras- she had just done so with the shoplifting scanner.
Now she needed the CCTV.
She also had to wipe the data somehow as well.
They had caught Aaliyah trying to wear the dress that didn't fit her on top of what she had worn now, as well as their whole conversation about it too.
The girl just couldn't really have risked anything at all.
Brandy wanted to text Aaliyah how things were going, because truth be told she couldn't have actually heard what was going on right now.
She was right underneath a table, and she was super close to the table where security guards had watched the CCTV cameras and whatnot.
I swear, if anybody comes into this room without permission then they're going to be in serious trouble and I mean it!
This wasn't the first time that Brandy had heard that, and realistically speaking it was a cue for Brandy to leave the area.
Not infiltrate it instead.
What if they do it discreetly though?
They never gonna do it discreetly, because we are gonna catch them.
Pfft, yeah right.
Brandy had gotten into this entire flipping room without being caught, so this whole thing would have been easy for her, and it was.
She was right underneath the table right now, waiting for them to leave, which took quite a while as they were talking about football.
That was until the speakers had announced that both of them were needed.
Brandy had to hurry up too otherwise Aaliyah would have gotten in huge trouble for what she was doing right now.
Aka causing a entire shopping racket.
Perfect, Brandy had thought to herself, when they had gone, then she had gone over to the table, switching off the light.
She had deactivated them because like Aaliyah, she too was good with computers, so it really wasn't that hard.
Aaliyah had kept on arguing with them over this, that was until Brandy had texted her saying that they were all clear to go.
Aaliyah had then left the scene, after telling them that she had misread the date and it was actually not expired at all.
She didn't even show any of the staff members the date, in case any of them had gotten suspicious or anything like that.
That was until Aaliyah had left, and the girls had just gotten away with shoplifting.
