Chapter Thirty Three
It was time for them to put their hopefully good plan into action.
Aaliyah seriously needed to distract Brandy as she was going to try and switch off all of the CCTV cameras for the store.
Not only that, but she was going to try and stop the shoplifting scanner- or whatever it was called as well.
Aaliyah just really needed to distract the security members at this store. Not only was it a clothes store, it was also a food store as well.
And Aaliyah knew just what to do.
She had watched enough movies and TV Shows to successfully deceive others, most especially somewhere like this.
She was going to complain about a food being expired, or more specifically a can of Pot noodles that Aaliyah wanted to buy.
Today was the 30th of May 1993.
The pot noodles had expired on the 17th of June 1993- Aaliyah was going to change 1993 to 1992 though, via a computer.
She had done that successfully, very successfully, with Brandy getting the Pot noodles for her in the first place because Aaliyah had kinda looked like a pregnant woman at the moment.
She was wearing the dress that hadn't fitted her underneath what she was wearing right now.
This was all for a party that they weren't even invited to in the first place, but they didn't care. They were going!
Aaliyah had moreover tucked the dress inside of her trousers so that people wouldn't have started asking any questions or anything.
She had worn her normal top on top of it, and she had had to keep the price tag of the dress otherwise she wouldn't have been able to get a refund.
Which was most certainly not what the girl had wanted for herself at all.
"Hold on, why don't we just straight up ask one of the staff members to help me with this dress?"
Goodness knew why they hadn't really thought about any of this any sooner than right now, but it was actually a really good idea.
"You know what the staff members here are like, sis. They'd want to know why you didn't choose a dress that was actually your size, or something like that. They aren't the nicest people there."
"But we could tell them that I didn't know."
"And you really think they'd believe that?" Brandy trailed off, raising an eyebrow at her friend.
That was why they couldn't have asked someone to help Aaliyah with the dress, or more specifically, one of the staff members.
They would have most likely asked Aaliyah why the heck she had worn a dress that wasn't even her size to begin with.
She had thought it was but it wasn't.
"You ready, sis?"
"More than ever."
As Brandy had gotten to business (or she had tried to do so anyway), Aaliyah had then gone over to a very fine looking staff member that was light skinned.
His name was Wesley, according to his name tag anyway, and he was been wearing a light blue shirt sleeved top with his name on it.
The collars of this said top were all black, which was what all staff members had to wear. He was wearing black trousers too, along with black and white Adidas superstars.
The staff members had to wear those shoes too. Those shoes weren't even that bad though so Aaliyah wasn't even complaining much.
Lastly, his name was on a name tag, in some very fancy writing. Or more specifically:
In black writing.
He was played by Bumper Robinson and he didn't really seem to be doing anything at the moment. Except from maybe stacking something but Aaliyah really needed someone to complain to.
About her "expired" pot noodles.
"Uhm..." she didn't know what to do so she had tapped him, trying to get his attention. "Excuse me, Wesley..." she had trailed off, reading his name from his name tag.
Wesley didn't say anything, as he had stopped what he was doing to stare at her.
He had smiled at her, so as to be friendly, but when he had realised that Aaliyah wasn't smiling back, he had stopped.
"How can I help you?"
Just stick to the plan, man.
Was what Brandy would have probably told her if she was here at the moment, and she couldn't have been any more correct to be honest.
Aaliyah sighed.
Then she took a deep breath, showing him the expiring date of the pot noodles, which she had clandestinely printed beforehand with Brandy some time ago but Wesley didn't realise this.
