Chapter Forty Four

"How do you know everything was a sabotage though?"

Aaliyah, Lisa and Tupac were in the guest room right now, with Tupac actually explaining to Aaliyah that someone might have sabotaged their car.

He had already told Lisa his theory earlier on, and she had believed it.

Tupac didn't say anything much though, he had just shown them a clip online which was the event leading to Nate and Notorious's very tragic death.

They were driving pretty recklessly, just like Fast and Furious.

Nate Dogg had lowkey told Notorious to slow down, especially after he was breaking the speed limit by about twenty miles per hour or so right now.

"Notorious, man! The car is at 90! Do you have a death wish or something?!"

No, but.

He didn't want any of them to die, that was all.

It had turned out that they weren't the only ones with intentions of breaking past the speed limit as Cedric and Jesse had done so too.

Chasing them down the road as if it was no big deal at all.

Tupac had told Notorious to watch out but he didn't care, he wanted to get rid of them.

But that wasn't the worst bit.

The worst part was that the car had completely rolled over from going too fast.

And...

Two of them had died.

Then the news reporter had said how Nate and Notorious had died right there and then on the spot whilst Tupac had survived instead.

And then some.

Tupac paused the video.

"The policemen were driving pretty fast too, so are you technically saying that their car had been sabotaged as well?" Aaliyah wanted to know after she had watched the video.

Tupac shook his head.

"Obviously not. They just drove fast because they wanted to catch up to us," he had explained. "But I'm telling y'all. Someone. Messed. With. The. Car. Like I said, I felt like Notorious wanted to slow it down, he just couldn't."

Okay, yeah.

So his name was Notorious but that didn't necessarily mean that he had acted notorious all of the time, because that was far off from the truth...

When he was still alive anyway.

Lisa wanted to know if Tupac had proof of that as well, as in someone actually sabotaging his car, and he did.

There was a video of someone, goodness knew who the heck it was but they had gone to the car.

They had somehow opened it on the inside whilst breaking in through the window, and they had almost flawlessly messed with the brakes.

That wasn't the coolest yet weirdest thing.

"They replaced the window?" Lisa had realised.

"Goodness knew how the heck they had done it so flawlessly but they did-- then they had walked off, smiling to themselves.

Tupac had paused the video again, with all of this happening about twenty or so minutes before his friends had died.

He had closed the laptop.

"Who would do such a thing?"

"I don't know, Aaliyah," Tupac frowned, sighing. "I didn't see the person's face. None of us did, but I do know one thing for sure. They're most definitely one or Nate or Notorious' enemies. Maybe even mine."

They must have also told the police that Tupac was there somehow.

This sucked.

"What if the person in the video is dead?" Lisa had pointed out. "I mean- you never know. Maybe the person in the video had feared that they would have gotten caught eventually. So they just decided to end their life."

Aaliyah had pointed out that her sister had actually had a point, clicking her fingers whilst pointing at her, but Tupac shook his head at that.

"Nah, they wouldn't. What's the point? If you commit suicide then you'll end up in hell," he had reminded them. "Although they ain't been caught yet because they ain't been on the news. Now I guess we have to figure out who the heck could have done all of this."

There was a saying that they had all known saying that they should have kept their friends close but their enemies closer.

They literally had to do that to get to their answer.

It was just a shame that they all had a lot of enemies so yeah.

This investigation of who could have sabotaged the car Tupac, Nate and Notorious were in before they had died was going to be a long ride.

That was for sure.
