Chapter Five

Whilst Tupac was making his way over there as fast as he could because he was seriously running late right now and he knew that...

Notorious and Nate Dogg in the meantime were simultaneously freaking out over him instead.

This was because the security officer (one of them anyway) had told them that they were live in ten minutes, whether Tupac was there or not.

Unfortunately for both Nate Dogg and Notorious though, a majority of people here had come here for Tupac so inevitably?

They therefore weren't going to be very happy when they realised that Tupac wasn't there or coming anymore.

"Where the heck is Tupac, man?" Notorious complained, walking around in circles with Nate Dogg. "Dude ain't pickin' up his texts or calls! You reckon Michael's taken his phone away or something? You know what he's like sometimes."

"Yeah, he can be like that but he ain't always like that. Michael's a real G, when he wants to be anyway. Let's just assume that Tupac is on his way here. Don't sweat it, bro. We'll be absolutely fine."

If they were going to be fine then Notorious definitely wasn't showing it at all, as he had frantically texted Tupac again.

So maybe the dude had received their text messages and phone calls, but he just hadn't seen them yet... until now.

From Notorious
Tupac?
Where the heck you at, G?
One of the security guards said that we're live in approximately ten minutes
And that was said 5 minutes ago, mind you!

As Notorious here had kind of suspected, so goodness knew why the hell he had texted Tupac even though he had kind of figured out he wasn't going to reply..

Tupac didn't reply.

It hurt more though because the dude fully had the audacity to leave him on read, but hey. Now they knew he most certainly wasn't dead.

Tupac❤️
Sorry, I had to cross the road
Hence why I left you on read
And you can't rush perfection, y'all!
I'm on my way, gimme three seconds

Notorious had taken his word for it but Tupac hadn't literally taken three seconds, he had taken thirty seconds instead, but oh well.

He was here now, and no one was complaining about that, as there was nothing to complain about. Besides, at least Tupac had taken less than thirty seconds to arrive, a minute even.

He was hyperventilating uncontrollably when he had arrived in there because apparently he had gotten chased by a dog, hence why he hadn't replied before.

Tupac had stared at this said dog in the eyes, and the dog had done the exact same thing to him. What he didn't realise though was that staring dogs in the eyes was what had caused them to chase someone anyway majority of the time.

At least he had learnt from his mistakes.

Even the coming late one.

"And where the hell have you been? We finna go live in two minutes! We ain't rehearsed once with you!" Nate Dogg yakked.

"At least I'm here now, ain't I? And I got in trouble. We just gotta improvise. Plus y'all could have rehearsed without me."

Yeah, but it wouldn't really have been the same.

They were all singing like 20% of each other's songs so they therefore had to learn the lyrics for it.

Notorious had told Tupac this but he didn't actually say anything to that, except apologise to both him and Nate Dogg really, but that was it.

He had apologised just in time too though, as the security guard had just told them that it was time for them to go live.

Which was exactly what they all did.

So good luck to them.
