Chapter Seven
Whilst Notorious had gone to sort out the light problem, Tupac and Nate Dogg in the meantime were on the stage in the darkness, whispering something to each other.
"Yo, what the hell just happened, Nate?" Tupac had whispered to him on the stage, as some people were shouting at them.
But they didn't care.
"This wasn't planned at all."
Of course this wasn't planned, Tupac. Because who the hell had turned off the lights during a concert?
It just didn't make any sense.
"Someone must've sabotaged us, man. That was the only option, unless the lights genuinely don't work without anyone doing anything then we seriously need to get that fixed."
Yeah, no kidding.
Annoyed fans had kept on yelling at them in the darkness, and normally fans wouldn't really have gotten annoyed over things but the darkness was kinda seriously doing their head in.
One had asked both of them what the hell was going on, with Tupac and Nate Dogg just staring at each other in the darkness.
Freaking out on the inside.
They were also kind of whisper arguing with each other over who should have answered the dude's question, with Tupac eventually telling everyone that they were experiencing some technical difficulties.
He had then played some songs from his album All Eyez On Me in the meantime, but they hadn't gone to help Notorious because he didn't ask for any.
Follow me and y'all are dead meat. I'm finna do this myself, you got that?
That was what Notorious had said to both of them before he had left to sort out the light problem, but Tupac and Notorious had some other problems of their own.
This had all pretty much started when someone had heard some sort of gunshot sound in the background and this had continued happening in the darkness.
"What the hell is happening, Tupac?"
How the hell was Tupac supposed to know?
It had all made sense though when someone had shouted the words terrorist attack with people screaming and trying to leave the concert.
Including both Tupac and Nate Dogg as well.
Though they didn't really leave the concert, not really anyway, they had just gone to tell Notorious about this.
Whilst they were doing that, Notorious in the meantime was very pissed about everything being in the darkness.
He was using a torchlight to see everything, trying to find the closest security guard he could have found, to yell at them.
He had found one that had looked just like him but was light skinned instead of dark skinned like he was, and he had grabbed him by the neck before shouting at him.
"Who the hell turned off the damn lights?"
The light skinned security guard was struggling to breathe as Notorious was grabbing him really tightly.
He wasn't called Notorious for no reason.
Though he did let him go when he realised this, but he still wasn't very happy.
"Answer my question then. Who the hell turned off the damn lights?!"
Notorious had absolutely no idea right now that a terrorist attack was happening and that Tupac as well as Nate Dogg were looking for him to escape together.
This was because he was upstairs and they were all downstairs making their way upstairs before it was too late for them to do so.
"I... I don't know. But we'll get it fixed."
"Yeah, you better get it fixed, else I'll whoop your ass, you understand that?" Notorious fumed. "I'm a superstar. And ain't no superstar having something ruin his concert. Now get out of my sight. You disgust me."
The security guard had nodded and he had ran off in shame and sadness.
Notorious' words could have oftentimes stung hard enough to make someone cry, and he did.. kind of. He was now making his way downstairs.
But what he didn't realise was that Tupac and Nate Dogg were doing the exact opposite thing, to look for him.
They had met each other on the stairs, but they weren't quite there yet.
