Chapter Fourteen

"It's OK, man. Let it all out. Let it all out."

That was what Eric B had said to Tupac as he was helplessly crying on his shoulder about the whole thing.

Unfortunately for him, both Notorious as well as Nate Dogg had tragically lost their lives in some sort of car crash.

Cedric and Jesse were chasing them down the road for something Tupac had done, so it wasn't really justified as to how Tupac was alive right now whilst the rest of them were dead instead.

That was why Tupac was crying in the first place. Because everything was all his fault. Not only that, but he had lost two of his closest friends too. That had truly truly sucked.

His father was going to be so darn pissed when he had found this out. And he was. That was why Tupac was avoiding coming home from now, muting and blocking his household members on his phone until further notice.

Were his brothers and father even coming to this funeral? No, no they weren't.

And Tupac here had never really been to a joint funeral before, as in seeing more than one coffin simultaneously but there was inevitably a first time for everything.

"I'm a murderer, Eric."

"You're not a murderer, Tupac."

"But my best friends are dead for something I did."

Yes but rubbing salt on the wound just wasn't going to help anything, bro.

Eric just sighed really, but he didn't say anything else. When he was about to do so though, that was literally when the joint funeral had just started.

We are gathered here today to celebrate their lives of Notorious and Nate Dogg, the funeral director had said on the altar.

He was Albino with glasses and almost had completely bald hair, and to be honest he had honestly looked like he would have rather been anywhere except from here right now.

To be fair Tupac couldn't blame him.

After all, who wanted to be at a funeral?

Especially a joint one too. That had truly sucked.

Nate Dogg had written in his will (when he was suffering from huge depression and was deciding on whether to end it or to continue living) that if he had died...

Then he wanted eulogies about him to be said before his life story, which was exactly what had happened right now.

So it was going to be eulogies about Nate Dogg then their life story then eulogies about Notorious. Some people knew both of them at the same time, so therefore they could have talked about both of them in one eulogy.

As eulogies were about to be said, the song I'll Be Missing You by Puff Daddy was playing in the background, but not too loudly to hear what was being said in eulogies.

Every step I take, every move I make
Every single day, every time I pray
I'll be missing you
Thinkin' of the day, when you went away
What a life to take, what a bond to break
I'll be missing you

Some choir members from the church were singing that because they couldn't have gotten the actual CD apparently.

Also, it was a lot more meaningful that way, and it was... even if the chorus of the song definitely wasn't sang first.

It was as if the funeral director wanted to humiliate Tupac really badly or something because apparently he was the first person to say his eulogy about Nate Dogg.

"What? Me?"

"Yes. You."

No way, man. Tupac wasn't ready.

He couldn't say bye to Nate Dogg or Notorious just yet, man. He still needed some time... as in three million years.

"Why can't his family members just do so instead?"

"Just read his will. He said he wanted you to go first. Then his family members. Then his friends. Assuming y'all had died after him."

What?

So the guy just lowkey had Nate Dogg's will on him?

Kinda peculiar... but it had honestly made sense at the same time to be fair.

Tupac sighed. He didn't want to go against Nate Dogg's will. There was nothing else for him to do right now, so he therefore got up the stage and he talked about him.

Actually, he was about to do so... but almost everyone around him had kept on giving him a dirty look because they knew Tupac was the reason he died.

Which was true to an extent. But then again, they honestly shouldn't have driven so recklessly. They hit the speed limit.

Tupac got on the altar and all eyes were on him.

He couldn't do this anymore man.

He was done.

He didn't say anything.

"Tupac?" The funeral priest had called him, when he had realised that he was holding the microphone right now but absolutely nothing was coming out of his mouth.

He didn't say anything still.

He felt dizzy.

Even when Eric B had winked a wink of reassurance at him.

"Tupac? Nate Dogg's eulogy?"

"Can't do this anymore, man. I'm done."

Then he stormed out of the room.

The funeral priest had called him... but nope. Nothing.
