Chapter Forty Eight
After everything, Tupac, Lisa and Aaliyah had then made a list of the prime suspects for Nate and Notorious's death.
And in a way- Tupac was responsible.
Which was something he had already admitted to them, but why the heck would he have sabotaged his own car?
The main suspects were as follows:
Michael Bivins from Bell Biv DeVoe - Tupac
Omarion from B2K - Nate Dogg
Nelly - Tupac
Terry Brown from Next - Notorious
Tatiana M Ali - Notorious
Lisa Bonet - Nate Dogg
Nate, Notorious and Tupac's names were right next to their enemies'.
This was all on a whiteboard, with the girls reading through everything.
"You guys only had six enemies in total?" Aaliyah realised, kind of surprised.
"No, we had way more, trust me," Tupac had replied. "These guys just happened to live really close to the crime scene."
None of them had said anything, as the girls had just looked at each other.
Their enemies seemed like dope people, with Lisa wanting to know why they were all enemies anyway.
"Hold up. Doesn't Tatiana play Ashley in Fresh Prince?"
"And Lisa Denise in the Cosby Show?" Aaliyah had added, with Tupac nodding to both of them.
Lisa Bonet had broken up with Nate Dogg.
She wanted more in a relationship, something more that Nate Dogg wasn't giving to her.
He actually was, she just wasn't grateful.
They had had countless arguments about this with Lisa threatening to kill him- which was all said before they had broken up.
Tatiana and Notorious- Notorious had slept with other women, expecting Tatiana to still stick around and she didn't.
When she had found out what he was doing, she had dumped him immediately, now knowing why people had called him Notorious.
Bell Biv DeVoe, Next and Nelly didn't like them out of jealousy.
Omarion from B2K was a different story.
Nate Dogg had used to be his tutor for school, they had gone to the same school.
He was a good tutor as well, with Omarion inevitably having to pay the guy anytime he had tutored him.
He didn't have the money for that, as he was going through some really tough financial problems in his family, with Nate Dogg constantly being reminded about this.
Sadly, Nate had gotten a bit impatient, having a go at Notorious and since then- they hadn't really been the best of friends.
"Yeah, but that wasn't exactly Omarion's fault. Nate Dogg shouldn't have been impatient." Aaliyah had pointed out.
"I know but still."
That was it.
It couldn't have been any of the girls though, this was because Lisa had just played the video of someone breaking into their car back.
And it had looked like a guy, because it was.
Okay, so that had ruled out all of the girls.
But which of the boys was it?
It had then dawned on Lisa and Aaliyah too for that matter that they had seen the headlines.
The latest one about this whole thing had a huge headline saying
DING DONG SCARILY ON HIGH
Vroom! Vroom! Nate and Notorious go KABOOM!
It was nowhere near Christmas but oh well.
"I don't get it," Tupac had deadpanned, looking at the girls blankly. "How does this tell me who committed the crime?"
Was he that oblivious?
The girls had facepalmed themselves, with Tupac just looking at them blankly.
"Ding dong." Aaliyah stated.
He was confused.
"Bell?" Lisa rephrased.
He shook his head.
"Bell Biv DeVoe?" The girls had uttered at the same time.
Then it clicked.
In Tupac's crazy little brain, it clicked.
"Ohhhhh!"
The girls laughed and facepalmed themselves.
All they had to do was to find out where they had lived.
And luckily for Tupac, they didn't become enemies too long ago- only about a month ago or so.
So yeah, he had his address.
A 57 minute drive from here, without traffic.
What were they waiting for?
They had to go, in disguises though.
