"Now come on! Let's catch up to her!" Bokuto grabbed Akaashi's arm as he began jogging after you.

Akaashi was startled, being dragged along as Bokuto pulled him, and his heart seemed to pound.

And finally when you were in sight, a feeling in the pit of his stomach brewed.

You looked behind you, seeing the boys, and stopped to wait for them as they pulled closer.
As they reached your side, Bokuto let go of Akaashi, but kept running.
"I've got things to do, I'll see you guys later!" Bokuto waved as he kept jogging forward.

Akaashi stood beside you with deep confusion and wide eyes.

"What was that about?" You questioned looking to the boy beside you.

Akaashi's eyes narrowed in slight annoyance, looking straight at Bokuto, "I'm not exactly sure."

You nodded as you continued walking with Akaashi.
"That game, the way I saw you play, you were really amazing getting Bokuto out of that state when he forgot how to hit cross shots." You complimented.

"Thank you, but it wasn't all that difficult. I was counting on you and Kaori to deal with some of the other things Bokuto got down on. And...you really helped me out by encouraging the others. It meant a lot." Akaashi spoke with his head down, you noticed the pink coloration of his face.

"That's what I'm here for. I'm here for you and everyone else. I wouldn't be a manager If I wasn't." You smiled at him.

He smiled back with comfortable eyes, "I'm glad."

You looked forward again, walking with your hands behind your back. The air was calm.

"Yuan..." Akaashi began, his face a redder hue.

You turned to him, surprised and slightly flustered as well.

The boy paused, keeping his eyes on his feet, "I... think I...I'm really glad that your here."

Your eyes went wide, and the feeling in your stomach bothered you a lot. You weren't exactly sure what to say.

"I want to understand you more than I do now. If that's okay." He wouldn't look at you, but you could see his bright red ears.

You truly didn't know how to respond, but you mustered the words anyway. "I would really like to get to know you better as well, so I guess we have no choice but to spend more time together." You spoke with a smile.

Akaashi's eyes went wide as his lips parted.
But it was soon replaced with a smile as he looked to you, "your ridiculous."

"Why do you always say that?!" You shot back as if the conversation had become completely normal.

The boy laughed, "because it's fitting of someone such as yourself."

Your cheeks went pink, "Your just as strange as I am, but in a different way. But still, you don't have room to talk."

The boy with gunmetal blue eyes and soft black hair chuckled softly, covering his mouth with the back of his palm as he did.

"What are you laughing about now?" You questioned childishly.

"I'm sorry, I can't help it. It's just...that your really cute when you make that expression." He spoke.

"Your embarrassing me." You pouted with red cheeks and a pounding heart.

"Good thing it's only us." He looked to you calmly.

You slapped your hands over your face to cover your redness.
As you peeked through your fingers, you could see Akaashi staring at you with a smile and lowered brows.
"Your awful." You muttered as you lowered your hands.
