"I love you, Yuan." A sweat voice spoke softly as she held the child in her arms. The arms of a kindhearted mother.
A Yuan from the past smiled as the girl snuggled into the mother's embrace.
-If only it had always been like that.-
"Your ruining our relationship! I don't even know how to fix it anymore! I'm a horrible mother, and I can never be good enough for you even though you are the only reason I still live."
"Shut up!"
"Come back!"
"I love you."
"I know you don't love me!"
"I hate it that your so nice to everyone but your own mother!"
"I'm so sorry..."
"You'd be happier without me around."
"Everything I do is for you."
"Why don't I just leave!"
"You don't deserve the way I treat you."
"Your breaking this family apart!"
"I'm trying to do better."
"Don't talk to me!"
"It's all my fault."
"I can't do this anymore!"
-The yelling screams cascaded throughout the dark blankness of your dream. A dream that was once a reality, one that always seemed to haunt you.
Tears refused to meet your eyes even in your sleeping state. They had run out for you to cry. You didn't like to remember the nightmares, however, they always seemed to find a way to reach you just when you thought you had forgotten.
They would always be with you.--The love of a mother, and then the contradicting hate. You could only be strong for so long... until you up and left and didn't bother to come back.-
"You should have predicted this. I'm spending the rest of my years of school in Tokyo. It's for my future. If I need anything I'll be fine on my own, so don't worry about me. I'm not coming back."
Your face seemed to twitch, bringing you to a waking state as you felt yourself leaning against a body. As your eyes finally did squint awake, your fingers curled around the sudden jacket placed around your shoulders. Then you noticed the heavier weight of a head leaning atop your own. Soft hair tickled your skin.
You were sitting in the same spot as you had been when you fell asleep. The night sky had cleared from what you could see, and the air was just a bit cooler than before.
Who knew how long the two of you had been there, just that you were still with Akaashi. You felt so warm against him, and your heart was slow yet pounding hard against your chest. It was rather difficult to focus or breathe, not knowing if he too had fallen asleep against you.
Deciding to make the perhaps daring move, you shifted a little further towards his chest, and leaned further against him. A pink hue moved upon your cheeks.Akaashi was unknowingly to you, wide awake.
His eyes squinted as the blood rushed to his hot face. His heart beat ever so harshly, an uncomfortable feeling bubbling in his stomach. He was tense and embarrassed, knowing that he was beginning to feel something for you that he'd sworn he wouldn't feel again at his young age.
He was too entranced that there was no going back. He knew that, accepting there was no use in denying it.
Akaashi had fallen victim whether he wanted to or not. Yet, he also wasn't displeased.
