Everything around you felt so strange as you sat alone in a dark abyss of nothingness, feeling as if you were flouting atop an ocean, slowly sinking.
"I'm dreaming aren't I?" You asked, not expecting a response back.
Your dreams became stranger and stranger by the night, forming into something that caused you fear.
It all felt so tragically real, the feeling of the water consuming you as you took your last breath of air.A sickly feeling ate you, tearing at you with all it had. The dark ball kept growing inside you, tugging and pulling.
It needed a cure.Your eyes seemed to hurt as you blinked awake, but you felt so warm and comforted. You were nuzzled up on the shoulder of Akaashi, his hand entangled in your own.
Akaashi's head turned to the side, with his hair messy, and his lips parted slightly in his sleep. His fingers tightened around yours as he breathed deeply.Your heart pounded as you stared at him, blood flowing up your checks. You turned your head, narrowing your eyes as you let your head fell back against his shoulder.
The entire previous night had slipped from your mind. He was the cure now.You weren't chasing Akaashi, you were meeting him in the middle, going to each other. It was the first time you had ever felt like that with anyone.
You leaned into the boys body, turning your head into his neck.
"I just hope, this doesn't change." You mumbled quietly, a discouraged look on your face. You felt him take a deep breath, causing you to lift up your head, checking if he had woken up.
His eyes twitched before they opened slowly, looking towards the ceiling and dropping his head to you.
He smiled when he saw you, sending your heart flying.
"Good morning." You spoke quietly with a flushed face.
"Good morning." He responded, his voice kind and soothing.
Letting go of his hand, you lifted off of him, taking the blanket up on your back as you sat up.
He lifted up with you, leaning back on his propped arms, "Are you alright?"
"Better than yesterday." You responded.
"That's good enough for now." He spoke.
You hesitated, "I'm sorry for..."
Your sentence was cut short by the sudden movement Akaashi had made.
He placed his forehead against your shoulder now, his face pink as he did so, "the last thing you need to do is apologize. I here for you because I want to be."
Your eyes widened and face matched the color of his own red checks.
"Hmh, right. I need to get that in my head." You smiled.
The day kickstarted, and soon you found yourself by Akaashi's side, standing outside of your apartment complex.
A troubled expression met your face as you saw her car still wasn't back."I guess it's time for me to go up there huh?" You laughed sarcastically.
Akaashi grabbed your hand, letting go once you looked at him, "You can wait a little longer if you want, you don't have to rush yourself."
