A dark haired boy followed aside you into the main floor of the towering building. Entering the elevator, you could see it was a completely different view from the past time you had been there.
The lights of the city glowed, seeming to get brighter as you moved further up.

A smile met your face as you turned to Akaashi, your back facing the glass, "I don't think I will see anything as beautiful as the view when we get up there in my entire life."

"That couldn't possibly be true." He told honestly.

"You never know, the impossible always seems to become possible." You turned back to face the glass.

Akaashi was struck by your statement, not knowing how coincidental it was, comparing to how he thought about you.
It made him slightly embarrassed, his heart pounded a little heavier on his chest.
"That's seems like something you'd say." He muttered simply.

"It does?" You faced him again, "I thought it was little more like something you'd say. Your inspirational like that." Your words were serious.

"Hmh," he sighed happily, "we've reached the peak."

You looked at him strangely for a second, thinking about what he could possibly mean by that. A deeper meaning.

A sound beeped and the elevator's doors split. Then you laughed to yourself, of course.

You walked into the dark circular room, dim lights were present so you could still see, but to where the lights wouldn't effect the view from the top at night.

Your excitement toned down a little bit as instead another feeling was replaced by it. You couldn't help your subtle smile, and your stomach felt strange.

However as you approached the glass, your astonishment overwhelmed you.
It felt as if you were watching the Milky Way in the sky, some of the lights moving looked like shooting stars, though they were only cars.

All you could see was miles and miles of colorful stars that mankind had created out of the simplest of resources. Something so simple, and yet so complicated, light. It was so beautiful. It was completely ordinary, yet unique in a way that nothing could be created to look like that again.

"Don't you think it's amazing, out of 7.2 billion people on this earth, that you and I are standing here today." You smiled to him, a hand placed up against the glass that stung your skin with coldness.

He looked at you in surprise, for only a second, questioning everything up to this moment.

"I'd hate to live in a world that just maybe, I had walked out of the gym a little later than I did. I would have turned a corner just a little later, and never would have even known you existed." You spoke again, a strange look of gratitude in your eyes.
