Light peered through the drapes of your window, shinning onto your face.

Reality seemed to grab hold of you as your eyes fluttered open. However, you felt strange as you awoke.

In realization, you noticed the body leaning against you, sleeping up against your lap as you lay on your back on the side of the couch.
The tv was still playing quietly.

"We fell asleep." You whispered to yourself, trying not to move as to wake the boy.

Your heart beat slowly but harshly in your chest. Your breath was stagnant and wavering as you looked down. Your muscles seemed frozen as you tried to lay back down against your pillow.
You closed your eyes in attempt to relax through the feeling in the pit of your stomach.

'I'll just wait til he wakes up', you thought.

Your mind didn't leave Akaashi once. He was always so quiet and calm, and very sarcastic as if showing little interest around others.
But he smiled a lot more now.

You lifted up your head from the arm of the couch, looking softly at the boy.
His cheek lay against the blanket that covered over your waist, and his eyelashes fell closed so softly. The boy's messy hair curled on his forehead.

Your eyes narrowed as you met his sleeping state with a smile. The urge to touch his hair overwhelmed you like a haunting.

Your fingers twitched as you raised your hand from the blanket reaching for his dark waves of hair. His hair felt so soft against your skin as you trailed the hair from his forehead to his ear.
The light shone in through the window, cascading over him gently as the birds carried on with their voices outside. The natural light was nice, bringing a strange nostalgia from a memory long ago.
You couldn't remember the last time a morning had ever been so peaceful.

You froze as the boy's head shifted a bit, head furrowing into the blanket and your waist

You froze as the boy's head shifted a bit, head furrowing into the blanket and your waist.
As he stopped moving, your heart beat harder and your eyes widened a bit.

You dropped your arm on the blanket next to him, sighing out with a sweet smile.
You poked a finger at the boy's cheek, "Akaaashi." You spoke gently.

"Good morning, sleepy head." You tried again with the same tone.

His eyes flinched as his eyelashes batted open. His face lifted as he looked up at you with bed head.
A dash of pink met his face as he lifted off your body and leaned back.

He looked to the side as he scratched his cheek, "I apologize, I didn't me..."

"Your fine, Akaashi. I thought it was kinda sweet and I liked looking at your face." You admitted upfront happily.

The boy paused, narrowing his eyes as he looked at you, "Your ridiculous."

"It's the truth." You spoke.
