I couldn't believe what just happened.

Naestatwa ako at hindi makagalaw dahil sa nangyari. My breathing became uneven as I stared at him in surprise. I didn't know what to say or to do. I averted my attention to the puppy in my lap. It's sleeping soundly, even though it felt a bit scared earlier because of the fireworks.

"What will you name her?" he asked and sat beside me like nothing happened.

I acted normal and gently caressed my own puppy. I can't believe it! I finally have one! I finally have my own dog!

"Hmm... Ruby?" I answered. Ever since I was a little kid, I always imagined my dog to be named Ruby. We don't have pets in our mansion, because Mommy is worried that it'll affect me badly. I have a lot of allergies and this is one of them.

I want to name her Ruby, because I like gemstones. Sapphire sana, but I want to name my child with that name.

"I think she likes it," Prince said while looking at my dog.

Napangiti ako nung gumalaw ito ulit. I still can't believe that he'll buy me a hypo-allergenic dog! I never knew that there's such thing as one and if I knew I would've bought it already.

I yawned and blinked slowly. I looked at Prince and saw him staring at me.

"Sleepy?" he asked.

Umiling ako. "No, I don't think so. A little bit?"

I inched closer to him and contemplated about this. The place looked so quiet and peaceful. I can stay here for the rest of my life, if I can. Away from all the people and away from all the stress. He did a good job, buying this place and beautifying it.

"Can I sandal my head on your shoulder?" I manage to ask.

A small smile slipped on his lips. Kinuha niya si Ruby at nilagay sa isang kama na nasa likod ko. He tapped his lap and I immediately knew what he meant.

I pursed my lips before I laid my head down on his lap. I fixed my skirt and placed the jacket on it, so no one would see my underwear. Malamig pa rin ang simoy ng hangin at medyo nililipad rin ang buhok ko.

"Are we the only ones here?" I tried looking around, when he started caressing my hair. It made me feel sleepy and relaxed.

"Yep," he answered. "My workers only work during the day. Si Papa ang madalas pumupunta dito para tingnan kaya tuwing umaga lang kami nagpapagawa."

Ngumuso ako. "So why did you really buy this place?"

I heard him chuckle. "Para bumuo ng pamilya."

Kinagat ko ang labi ko. The thought of building a family with him crossed my mind. Hindi ko alam kung bakit ko nga ba naiisip iyon at bakit siya ang unang pumasok sa isip ko.

"I just want a house away from the metro. Somewhere far, so my kids will grow up peacefully. More closely to nature, free from all the pollutions and noise..."

I slowly nodded. I like that for me too.

"I like that too... I mean the thought of it. I also want to build a family away from all the messy things." I told him.
