Chapter 49

I didn't know how we got here so easily because I was asleep the whole ride. But the fresh, soothing winds that greeted us last night is enough to refresh my mind from everything.

A warm embrace covered my body as I rub my face on the pillow. Humawak siya sa tiyan ko at siniksik pa ang sarili sa akin. I giggled as I felt his kisses on my cheek.

Humarap ako sa kanya at niyakap pa ito ng mahigpit. It felt so comforting when I saw that smile on his face again.

"I'm still sleepy..." I groggily whispered.

"Hm? Let's continue sleeping, then..." hinalikan niya ang pisngi ko at yumakap pa ng mas mahigpit.

A smile broke on my face and bit my lip.

We went to Marvel's private island. Just the two of us. I don't know if he asked Marvel about it, but the caretaker took care of us as soon as we arrived.

The morning breeze feels nice. It's sad that Ardie isn't here with us, but I didn't want him to worry about me. He cries whenever he sees me crying. Ramdam niya pag malungkot ako kaya ayaw ko pag nakikita niya akong ganon.

Last night, I told him about everything that's bothering me.

Wala akong iniwan na kahit anong detalye. Nakinig lang siya sa lahat at hindi umimik. I like that better. I just need someone who'll listen to me without any commentaries.

Mali ba talaga ako sa ginawa kong pagsagot? I know I wasn't really thinking about the words that I say, but I just hate it. I hate the truth.

I took a quick bath after him. He told me that we can't bathe together because hindi naman daw kami. I mentally rolled my eyes to that.

Naabutan ko siyang may pinapanood na video habang nakapatong ang mga siko sa bar counter. It sounds like a cooking video, according to the instructions.

Binalot ko ang sweater niya sa katawan ko. I'm just wearing a lavender sando inside and black dolphin shorts. I tied my hair to a ponytail and sneaked up behind him.

It made me smile to see him trying to learn a new spicy dish that I have been craving for. Madalas kasi ako magpahiwatig ng mga pagkain na gusto kong kainin at sinusubukan niya namang lutuin kapag may oras siya.

"Boo!" I blowed on his ear.

He jumped a bit and almost dropped the iPad. Humalakhak ako at pinatong ang baba sa balikat niya. He pulled me closer to him, isang yakap niya lang parang gumaan na agad ang loob ko.

He has always been that person for me, ever since. He's the only one who could heal this dying heart that keeps on getting hurt each and every day.

With him, I always feel peace and comfort. 

He lifted me up effortlessly that made me gasp. Hindi pa ako nakakasalita nung salubungin niya ang mga labi ko. I kissed back passionately with my hands around his neck.

Kumalas siya sa halikan namin. Nakanguso niyang pinatong ang baba sa dibdib ko. Kumikinang ang mga matang nakatitig sa akin at marahang hinaplos ang mukha ko.

"If only I can kiss you like this all the time, Elisse... I'll be the happiest man alive."

I giggled. "I let you do everything you want naman, hmm?"

He groaned. "I'm not satisfied."

"Ano pa ba gusto mo? I married you. You are mine by paper and I am yours already. I let you do everything that you want..." hinawakan ko ang pisngi niya at hinalikan ang ilong nito.
