Tom and you had been good friends ever since you went to his premiere of Thor 2: dark world. He had always seen you as more and maybe somewhere down the line you had too.
The British man came over so you two could hangout but more importantly watch his new series Loki which had recently been dropped. You were quite excited to say the least and Tom was eager to get your take on it.
He pulled up the show on your telly whilst you disappeared off into the kitchen to brew some tea and gather snacks.
You were just plating the goods and drinks when Tom popped his head into the kitchen ʻʻNeed any help,darling?.ʼʼ
Glancing up from the bag of popcorn you pursued your lips holding the two choices up ʻʻButter and salt or chives and sour cream?ʼʼ you questioned.
Tom, hummed in consideration for a minute before he pointed at one of the options ʻʻThat one.ʼʼ
You nod popping the bag into the microwave then leaning against the counter waiting for it.
When you glanced up at Tom he was looking at you already with such concentration and attention it made your heart skip a beat. You licked your lips before questioning the Loki actor ʻʻWhat?.ʼʼ
Tom shook his head almost as if snapping himself back. He cleared his throat and murmured a quick apology ʻʻIt's nothing,Y/n.ʼʼ Tom retreated of into the lounge so you quickly finished up in the kitchen then headed to the lounge. You took a seat on the couch,next to him.
Tom seemed off at that moment and you couldn't quite put your finger on it.
You sigh, place the tray on the table then turn to face him ʻʻWhat's going on, Hiddleston?.ʼʼ
He runs a hand through his hair then meets your eyes ʻʻWhat do you mean? I'm fine.ʼʼ You raise a brow as if saying "really now?." Making Tom shift in his seat.
He takes a breath deciding it's now or never. ʻʻY/n,I fancy you okay? I have for a long long time. I think you are beautiful and you seem to make my life fill up with joy and whenever I think about you which is quite often I feel my heart stir with love and I'm afraid that this might ruin our friendship but I just had to tell you it's been too long...ʼʼ He finishes off nervously glancing at you.
Your lips curve into a smile making Tom's eyes fill with hope as he mirrors yours.
ʻʻWell, if I'm being honest I like you too...ʼʼ A grin splits his face as he edges closer to you. He takes your hand in his and places a light kiss on your knuckles making you blush ʻʻI'm so glad you've said thatʼʼ he inches closer and kisses you gently before wrapping his arms around you as you'll settle down to watch his show.
