Loki was being a pain in the ass to Bruce and frankly he could spend a day without being taunted and mocked by the god of mischief. He attempted to get rid of Loki even if for a few moments.
He put down his glasses and folded his arms glancing at the Norse god. ʻʻWould it kill you to stop being you just for 5 seconds?ʼʼ Loki snickered ʻʻI could ask you the exact same question, should I?.ʼʼ
Bruce sighed in exasperation, abandoning his work ʻʻdo you hate all midguardians or am I just special when it comes to targeting? Go bother someone else. You are in my lab and if you can't be nice then please leave?.ʼʼ
ʻʻwell, I would have bothered someone else but it's rather much more amusing to see the incredible hulk get green besides I'm bored and if I bother Tony again he would just lock me out of the facility. As for my hatred for you dull midguardians that's a story we rather not poke around in.ʼʼ

ʻʻyou like her don't you? you like Y/n?.ʼʼ Bruce declares with excitement at his suspicion being confirmed.
Loki shakes his head, his black hair following with the movement, his lips part and he's about to point blank deny it when Bruce approaches him and looks him dead in the eye.
ʻʻif you love her then go for it, she might be the only person that can keep you sane and happy um.. word of advice though, don't screw it up with your Loki tendencies. Y/n's a great woman that deserves happiness. She extended a hand of friendship to you when the others weren't ready to forgive you after New York. so take your shot and try not to miss for all of our sakes.ʼʼ Bruce pats his arm and Loki's eyes soften at the advice and gesture.
He licks his lips and simply nods at Bruce in thanks. He twiddles his thumbs, glances at his shoes then back at Bruce whom is giving him an encouraging smile.
ʻʻt-thank youʼʼ Loki awkwardly says making Bruce smile lightly. He then spots you walking by and gestures to Loki ʻʻthis is your chance.Goodluck.ʼʼ
The two boys look at your walking form and you turn feeling stares on you, finding Bruce and Loki there you smile and give a little wave. Disappearing into the hall.
Bruce nudges Loki out of his thoughts ʻʻwhat are you waiting for? Go!.ʼʼ
This jerks the god forward and he runs off to catch up to you. All the while Bruce keeps his fingers crossed as he works in his lab.
You are about to head into your room when someone calls your name ʻʻY/n?ʼʼ you turn to find Loki in all of his godly glory standing there with a nervous smile on display. You tuck a piece of hair behind your ear as you two approach one another. Meeting half way...
ʻʻY/n... I have something to tell you.ʼʼ You smile brightly ʻʻI do too.ʼʼ

I think as the years pass growth comes in writing lmao I feel like I'm lowkey getting better at this and I hope this streak carries on. fingers crossed the same way Bruce did for y/n & loki. Ain't he a precious smol bean? I needa write some bruce imagines next.
