You were in the kitchen on one of the bar stools at the breakfast bar, munching down your favorite ice-cream while scrolling through instagram. You had your comfiest hoodie on and you used the back of the sleeve to swipe away a few stray tears.
You sniffed and spooned some more of the frozen dessert into your mouth, when Steve entered. You quickly straightened up and flashed him a smile ʻʻHi,Steve.ʼʼ
He was filling up a glass with water ʻʻHey favorite Stark,you okay?ʼʼ His brows dipped in concern as he shut off the faucet and took a sip from the cup. You nodded ʻʻYeah! Totally fine. How are you?ʼʼ You redirected the attention to him, it's what you did when you didn't want to open up about how you felt. If someone asked how you were, you'd lie and say fine and then deflect. Probably a Stark thing.
