You were an AD (assistant director) for Thor Ragnarok. The movie recently got done filming and Taika was throwing a party in honour to celebrate.

During your time working on the movie you had become good friends with Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston.

Often you'd find Chris flirting with you as he thought you were stunning and had a great personality so naturally you flirted back at times, I mean it was Chris Hemsworth after all. Even tho you weren't looking to date at the moment as you wished to focus entirely on your career especially since it just started picking up.

You thought that maybe if you dated someone you worked with it might give you a bad reputation in the industry or sway job opportunities in some way, you knew you were being overly cautious since some celebrities probably dated staff or crew, it happened and it wasn't a big deal.

Chris found you at the catering table with a strawberry between your lips. You offered him one from the pint and he took it with a smile. A smile that kicked your heart into over drive. How was it possible for someone to look that good? You couldn't comprehend it. Chris Hemsworth looked like a greek god and he had the nice personality to match which encouraged you to break your resolve and admit your feelings.

ʻʻCongrats on completing filmingʼʼ

Chris gestured to you ʻʻAh yes and congrats to you tooʼʼ He ran a hand through his hair ʻʻWill you be going to the party?ʼʼ

You pushed back your hair and grabbed another berry, you twirled it between your fingers and shrugged before looking back at Chris,whom held a look of unspoken feelings in his eyes and it made you take in a breath.

Chris smiled, the smile which made his eyes crinkle in that sweet way and light up. It was your favorite smile of his and it automatically made you smile back at him before Chris cleared his throat ʻʻWell, I think you should go considering you played a big part in crew, we couldn't have done it without you and ofcourse the othersʼʼ He turned back slightly gesturing with a hand at the crew packing up behind him.

He licked his lips and then continued ʻʻSo I'd like it, if I could take you to the party on a dateʼʼ He proposed.

You shuffled your feet before looking down at your hand. Chris followed before you both glanced at each other again.

He was waiting for an answer so you parted your lips and began to explain ʻʻAs much as I'd like that I'm afraid I can'tʼʼ You saw Chris's expression change into a disappointed one and it made you want to change your decision, you liked him. You so did.

ʻʻDon't get me wrong I like you, who wouldn't right?ʼʼ you chuckled and Chris gave a small chuckle. ʻʻBut I don't think it would be ethical for us to dateʼʼ

Chris adjusted his collar as he spoke ʻʻI understand that but there is no policy that says we can't and on the bright side we are done filming so you aren't my AD anymoreʼʼ

You put down the uneaten strawberry ʻʻTrue but I don't want to jeopardize my career in anywayʼʼ

Chris placed a hand on your shoulder ʻʻHey, you won't I promise. If me asking you out could have any negative impact on your career I would never have approached you like that but I really like you,Y/n and I think you like me too I mean who wouldn't right?ʼʼ

He mimicked what you said earlier which made you laugh and shake your head in amusement.

ʻʻI don't think they'd care if we dated, at first if word gets out the reporters will sell the fact that I'm in a relationship and then it'll fade off. Some celebrities date crew or staff members and nothing bad happensʼʼ He assured and you knew Chris was right.

He held out his right hand ʻʻOkay how about this, we let faith decide. I'll rock,paper, scissor you and if you win we won't try this dating thing and if I do then that means we should go for itʼʼ he raised an eyebrow challengingly and you agreed, holding up your own hand ʻʻAlright Hemsworth, let's see how good you are at a child's gameʼʼ

ʻʻOh I plan to win, Y/l/nʼʼ He winked and it took you a moment to regain your composure which Chris noticed judging by the smirk on his lips.

Chris counted you down ʻʻ3,2,1ʼʼ at one you showed your weapon of choice which was paper, you felt like he was more of a rock guy but Chris went for scissors. Which meant you lost but you weren't really complaining.

A grin takes over his face ʻʻI told you I came to win and so that settles it then. Also we'll take it slow and lowkey if that helpsʼʼ his eyes softened with the promise and you liked that he was being considerate.

ʻʻJust so you know I was going to say yes before you suggested we let faith decide with a game of rock,paper,scissorʼʼ You admit with a giggle and Chris shrugs ʻʻIt's fine now I get to brag about how I won and how faith settled our date. It'd make a wonderful storyʼʼ

And for the record it did make a wonderful story when Chris told it on your wedding day 2 years later and the guests laughed as your husband recalled the moment that settled it all. He smiled that smile you love while you looked at each other and it still made your heart skip a beat. You wrapped your arms around him and kissed the man that you get to call yours everyday for the rest of your lives. . .

Yesterday was Hemmy's b-day (I found out late) which brought me to writing up an imagine today for posting. This is my first Hemsworth one like how? That man is equally funny and gorgeous. He needs more face time in here.
