Peter,Ned and you had been friends for years now and during this time you and peter had developed a bit of a crush on each other, ever since that time you two almost kissed 2 years ago on that school camping trip you haven't been able to get Peter off your mind and he, you.

Ned had definitely noticed all of those sneaky glances and silent longing and frankly he'd had enough so one boring school day.

Ned cornered Peter at his locker ʻʻyou like,Y/nʼʼ it wasn't a question rather a statement and it made Peter's eyes widen ʻʻwhat? n-no i don'tʼʼ he shakes his head, flustered, grip on his textbook tightening.

Ned chuckles ʻʻc'mon Peter everyone can tell you do.ʼʼ Peter makes a nervous face ʻʻyou both like each other and it's easily visible!ʼʼ Ned adds.

Peter sighs ʻʻokay, I like her ever since that time we almost kissed on that camping trip but it's been 2 years now and we haven't done anything.ʼʼ

ʻʻI know which is high time you do something about it,Peter! If you both like each other then what's holding you back?.ʼʼ (theres nothing holding me back! Mendes fans wya?)

Peter shrugs ʻʻI don't know I guess we don't want stuff to be weird if it changes...ʼʼ

ʻʻUgh I can't take these longing looks between you two anymore so I'm gonna help you out. After school we'll head to your house and we will plan a date for you and Y/n and tomorrow you can ask her outʼʼ Ned explains. Peter swallows ʻʻa-ask her out?.ʼʼ

ʻʻYes Peter it's what people do when they like someone. Do you wanna lamely stare at Y/n for another 2 years?.ʼʼ

Peter shakes his head no. Ned's right he had to do something about this and staying quiet wasn't it. He was going to ask you out.

ʻʻOkay. I'll see you after schoolʼʼ he slams his locker shut and heads off to his next class with Ned by his side. A new found determination in Peter's heart.

At Peter's house

Peter's computer is turned on and Ned is sat in the chair looking at the screen with Peter standing next to him. Peter points at an image of flowers ʻʻHow about that one?ʼʼ Ned adds the gift to the cart before they search for something else. The boys are so busy online shopping that they don't hear you knock on Peter's room door.

ʻʻGuys... I'm coming inʼʼ you announce before knocking once more for good measure. Silence. So you enter which makes the boys jump at the sound of the door opening. You frown at their jump-iness and the look on their faces ʻʻWhat's going on?...ʼʼ

ʻʻN-nothingʼʼ Peter says trying to block the computer with his body. You raise a brow ʻʻReally,Pete?ʼʼ

ʻʻWe were um we were just looking at...ʼʼ

Ned jumps in and says ʻʻpørn...ʼʼ

Peter nods but immediately stops after realizing what Ned said. He shakes his head no vehemently ʻʻWhat? Ew no! We w-weren't watching -ʼʼ Peter looks away from you and at Ned,tongue in cheek, he glares at Ned. ʻʻDude seriously!?ʼʼ

Ned sheepishly smiles ʻʻsorry I panicked!ʼʼ

ʻʻYa' think?ʼʼ Peter shoots back. You laugh which makes him look at you ʻʻit's okayʼʼ you say ʻʻno need to explain.ʼʼ

ʻʻBut we weren't!ʼʼ Peter protests and you bring a hand to your mouth to quieten your laugh ʻʻI'll leave you guys to it then, I'll see what Aunt May is up to....ʼʼ your hand is on the door knob now, you turn and walk out when Peter closes the door behind him and calls out your name in a hurry.

ʻʻY/n!ʼʼ You turn to look at him and find him biting his lip nervously before rubbing the back of his neck shyly.
ʻʻY/n...we weren't looking at um that. We were actually trying to um-ʼʼ he takes a few steps away from his room door and towards you.

ʻʻIt's okay,Peter. You don't have to be so shy about it.ʼʼ You touch his shoulder with a smile and Peter decides to take your hand in his. He licks his lips and you both look down at your hand in his, before meeting each others eyes. ʻʻY/n, I was online shopping for you... I was going to ask you out... on a date.ʼʼ He explains, his fingers nervously fidgeting with yours and it made your heart beat quicken.

Peter is way too damn cute and the fact that he was doing all of this, that too so sweetly and nervously made you want to kiss him and not that almost kiss two years ago but a real one.

Your face splits into a huge smile making Peter smile back ʻʻwhat took you so long,Peter Parker?ʼʼ He chuckles ʻʻI have no idea.ʼʼ

Somehow you two had moved closer so Peter snaked an arm around your waist and you placed a hand on his chest.
ʻʻCan I kiss you?...ʼʼ he says and you nod softly giving him permission to do so. Peter dips his head towards you, his lips are so close to yours and you feel his breath against your skin. His hold on you tightens before his lips touch yours with an intensity that's both soft and eager.

You kiss him back, arms going around his neck and his hands hold your hips. Peter smiles into the kiss and so do you. After all this time it was finally happening and it was even better than you both had imagined...

you both hear the faint sound of Ned cheering ʻʻYes! The guy in the chair does it again!ʼʼ Peter and you chuckle before he kisses you again, butterflies swarming your stomach and happiness in both of your hearts.

a/n:

inspired by me randomly remembering that time Ned told his teacher he was watching p*rn on prom night. Y'all know the scene I'm talkin about and so i got an idea and went with it. Wrote this like a week back I think. I have some imagines written like 1-3 months back still in my drafts and they are all tom holland ones! sue me.
