Ryan and you had been dating for a few years now but unfortunately you had commitment issues which he was obviously aware of.
Ryan had always been willing and patient enough to work with that and you adored him for it.
It's been two years of you guys dating and you still hadn't said the L word to him which lowkey made Ryan unhappy about it and you hated that but you just couldn't help it.
You knew that having this irrational fear with him was pointless and wrong as he'd been with you through everything within these two years including you not saying you loved him when he had admitted it countless of times before. Each time he did, it warmed your heart but also made you feel a tinge of guilt for you never said it back.
Today was Ryan's birthday and you was determined as ever to finally set it right. you was finally going to admit your feelings to him even if you wanted to chicken out due to your commitment phobia.
Ryan and you were walking the streets of NY hand in hand making your way to the fancy restaurant you'll had booked for the occasion when you halted to a stop.
