Talia purred softly as she nuzzled Yang's neck. The two lay in bed together, the faint glow of the screen at the foot of the bed serving as the only light in the room. The night had been perfect. A wonderful dinner followed by a light hearted movie.
Yang stroked her girlfriend's cat ears slowly, enjoying the slight vibrations caused by Talia's gentle purrs as they rippled through her.
Talia wrapped a strand of Yang's golden hair around her finger, before letting it go again.
"Thanks for everything tonight, Yang."
Talia said, her voice soft and melodic.
"You're certainly welcome, princess."
Talia rolled her eyes and let out a small laugh.
While princess was her official title, hardly anyone ever used it.
"Princess, huh?"
She said with a grin.
"That's a new one."
Yang chuckled and wrapped her arms around the faunus.
"I'll find one that sticks."
Talia smirked.
"Doubt it."
Reaching over to the night stand, Talia pushed a button on the remote and the screen shut off, leaving the room in total darkness.
Yang smiled, seeing the faint glow of Talia's catlike eyes through the dark.
Talia wrapped her arms around the blonde, pulling her closer. Then she began to sing, her voice soft and beautiful.
"But then I need your voice, as a key to unlock all the love that's trapped in me. So tell me when it's time to say, I love you."
Yang smiled and kissed her gently.
"I love you too my little songbird."
Talia closed her eyes as she held the kiss, enjoying Yang's natural warmth.
A gentle spring breeze blew through the open balcony door as an owl hooted softly outside.
Smiling to herself, Talia rested her head on Yang's shoulder, closed her eyes, and was asleep within minutes.
