Talia was still sitting at a booth in the dining car as Yang entered, her long, golden hair still windswept from sitting on the roof of the train.
Yang slid into the booth beside her and stroked one of Talia's cat ears gently.
Talia purred slightly and put down the book she was reading. She glanced up at Yang.
"So,"
She said, scooting closer to Yang.
"How'd it go with Blake."
Yang smiled as she put an arm around the cat Faunus.
"I just gave her a nod in the right direction. I think she got the message. How'd your talk with Jason go?"
"Pretty much the same. When he's focused on something it's sometimes hard to get him to take a break. I just convinced him that he needed some time to relax."
Talia nuzzled Yang's neck affectionately.
Yang kissed the top of her head.
Talia grinned.
"Looks like you've got a thing for cat faunus huh?"
Yang blushed.
Talia pulled her into a hug, one of her cat ears twitching as it rubbed against the underside of Yang's neck.
The two sat there, talking quietly, as the train rolled on through the night.
Two more days to Vale.
