Talia sighed contentedly. She stood on the balcony, letting a cool, night breeze blow through her hair. Glancing over the edge, she saw Jason walking down the dock far below her. She let out a small chuckle as she watched Blake pull him into the water.
Talia let out a small purr as she felt Yang's arms wrap gently around her waist as the blonde pulled her girlfriend into a comforting hug.
Yang walked over to lean on the balcony wall next to Talia.
"So,"
Yang said, giving Talia a kiss on the cheek,
"have you thought anymore about what I said the other day."
The faunus girl blushed slightly.
"If you can convince him, I'm down."
Yang grinned. The sounds of quiet laughter floated up from the water below.
Talia sighed and nuzzled Yang's neck as the blonde ran a hand over her girlfriend's cat ears.
"Do you ever think about her?"
Talia's voice was soft in Yang's ear.
"Who? Blake?"
Yang chuckled and shook her head.
"Not when it comes to being in love, no."
She grinned at Talia.
"I've got the only one for me right here."
Talia blushed, pulling yang into a tender kiss.
Yang closed her eyes, feeling the sensation of Talia's lips on hers.
When she pulled back, Yang grinned.
"Plus, I feel like Jason makes Blake pretty happy."
As if on cue, a soft noise, somewhere between a purr and a moan, made its way up from the waters below.
Looking over the edge, Talia blushed.
"We should probably give those two some privacy."
Yang smirked as the two retreated back to their room, closing the door behind them.
The two lay down on the bed, Talia resting her head on Yang's ample chest.
The blonde smiled down at the gentle Faunus. Running a hand over the marks on her own neck.
"Did it hurt? The marks I mean."
Yang nodded.
"A little."
Talia sighed.
"From what Blake has told me, it doesn't hurt as much for faunus. I guess our bodies were made to handle it."
Yang kissed her cat ears gently.
"Don't worry Tal. It's part of your tradition. I understand that. And, since we're together now, it's a tradition I will happily embrace."
Talia smiled up at Yang.
"Thank you Yang. You have no idea how much it means to me just to hear you say that."
Then Talia whispered in Yang's ear.
"Kalar sarou sen."
"𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘭𝘥 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘺𝘰𝘶."
Yang repeated. It was one of the phrases Talia had been able to teach her from the ancient faunus language.
"By the way."
Talia said, glancing at her mate,
"I'd like you to accompany me to the dance tomorrow night."
Yang smiled.
"It would be an honor."
She said, stroking Talia's ears slowly.
"Now come on."
Yang said, removing Talia's leather jacket and tossing it to the floor.
"I wanna hear this little songbird sing for me tonight."
Talia grinned.
"Is that a challenge?"
Yang chuckled as Talia climbed under the covers with her.
