Laura Grace/LG/Gracie - POV

As I stand next to Lizzie, grabbing hold of her and Sarah's hand for dear life as the men pass by, I am almost taken down by his mere presence, his smell alone makes me cross my legs. Sarah is lost in link with Charlie, I am sure we will hear the truth soon. As Kyles parents come in and they stop in front of Lizzie thanking her and all she can say is how it is her pleasure and she give the woman a hug! Now I know she has lost it, so much for staying strong and not opening the door for the man. As I look up, I make the fatal mistake of looking the King right in the eyes, now I need a new set of panties. UGH. This needs to end.

We go to sit as usual our Omegas come out to pull the chairs out, we do this when all Alpha's come to visit. Manners maketh Men, but half the Alphas that have come you would have no clue what that meant. As we sit Lizzie and I grab our wine glasses and I drink half my glass in one shot. When Lizzie tells him about the 3 courses and he tells her he would have gone for Pizza and beer I was almost ready to take him up on it, until he said Charlie would have known. I think she was a little bombarded by Lizzie, so I just let it slide. If this night can't get any crazier Lizzie asks His Royal Hotness to call her Liz after he says to call him Max. I link her, "Really? Liz?"

Her link came back as a soft laugh, "I had to show Kyle I am no longer the same."

With that I replied thru our link, "And Liz is what you came up with?"

I decide to just jump in and ask what we all really wanted to know, "So Max, what brings you to Lost Souls, I had expected your father, to what do I owe this pleasure?" Feeling much more confident I sit back and smile. It took about a minute and I would have sworn I head someone kick another under the table, but he finally answered me.

"Ah, yes, My Father sings your praises Laura Grace. He told me to make you a priority. He insisted you were one of the first Packs I visit. He loves what you have done with the community and businesses." He returns with a smile.

"Well he is a very honorable and smart man." I sat back thinking he wasn't totally telling the whole story as to why he really came her. I was sipping on my wine when the salad was placed in front of me and put my glass toward Lizzie for her to refill the glass. As I watch her fill the glass, I hear someone running up the steps of the house, the door flies open and Lance stands there shirtless!

"Lizzie, you have Rogues on the north side!" Lance yells as Charlie, Sarah and Lizzie jump up take off their pearls and shoes and run out the door. Dammit I forgot to put the alert on the security system.

I finally stand and tell the men to continue with their meal and go to Lance. "Do you know how many, and do they look friendly?" Lance knows by now we accept Rogues and what we look for.

"There's about 20, but there are pups! I haven't seen any with pup's before. Have you?" I reach out to touch Lance's arm to give some comfort seeing he is distressed that pup's are rogues. When I hear the deep growl.

"MINE!" I turn to a very angry Max standing about to let his wolf out.

Lance says under his breath, "Oh shit, what in the Fuck."

Thankfully Kyle stepped in, "Max, sit down, that is Alpha Lance. He is Elizabeth's brother and Alpha of the Golden Moon Pack. He has been friends with LG since they were children. And he has a Luna!" Kyle says in a calm tone as if has had experience in calming the King. Kyle then turns and looks urgently at me. "LG can I please go out and help with the Rogues?

I am still looking at Max trying to not look at Lance and explain the whole MINE situation when I try to answer Kyle, "Um, no, thank you Kyle, but most of the Rogues we get are usually seeking asylum. We are going to lockdown, just as a precaution. Lance here is going to have a few of his men outside since our Warriors are currently preoccupied. If you would like I will have them bring in your luggage and take them to your rooms." I say with a weak smile trying to brush off the outburst as if it didn't occur. Lance already was worried enough because of Kyle. How would I explain Max.
