Thankfully we arrived back to the palace before anyone else. Max needed to fix his shirt and I needed to calm myself after the marking and the car ride back. I am currently in the closet changing my underwear as I hear Max holding in a laugh. "Don't even!" I say pulling down my dress. "You did this don't even." I say sitting down at my dressing table looking at my mark.

"I am not denying it and I am not going to apologize." He comes up behind me and bends down moving my hair off the side of my neck and nuzzles into my neck kissing it. "I plan on that happening from now to forever, so you better just go shopping at La Perla again." He says smirking at me through the mirror.

"Fine, I can do that. I actually enjoy that." I say turning and kissing him on the cheek. "But we have to get down to a party and another reception line." I tell him as I pick up my lip stain and reapply a small amount.

"I will do my best to control myself, but I am not promising anything." He takes my hand and helps me up and we walk to the door as we open it Chandler is standing there about to knock.

"Oh good, you're ready. The guests are starting to arrive, we need to go to the back to make it on time." Chandler says walking us to the back where the Grand Hall is. "We also welcomed Ms. Huma Rahman a bit ago. I showed her to a room and invited her to the reception."

"Good. You kept her in the south wing not where near Sarah and Tanner, correct." Max almost commanded.

"Yes, sir. She is in the furthest room available." Chandler smiles at me as he opens the doors to the hall connecting the back of the palace. Everyone is coming in the doors to the North and the doors to the south connect to the palace.

We get into place by the doors as Tanner and Sarah come running from the south doors. "Were here wait!" Sarah calls as she stands next to me and Tanner on the other side.

"We would have been fine." Max says looking at them. Then looks at Sarah, "unless you know something?" Max has a questioning look on his face.

"Nope, just felt like I needed to be here." She says waving at Max.

"Well then open the doors Chandler." Max nods as Chandler does Alpha's and Luna file in and start to congratulate us. I felt someone tap my shoulder as Lizzie hands me a glass of champagne.

"Here take a sip you need it." She says and hands me the glass as I down it and nod thanking her. "I will be back with more." I nod and turn back.

An hour later Max takes my hand and we walk to the table at the front of the Grand Hall and he pulls my chair out. As I take a seat, I see Lizzie is next to me with Kyle next to her and Charlie next to him with Travis next to her. On the other side of Max is Tanner then Sarah, with Brett and then Anna. Max is still standing as he holds his hand up he quiets everyone. "I want to thank you all for celebrating this time with me and my wonderful Soulmate." He says looking down at me. "I know what a blessing it is to have the blessing the Moon Goddess has given us. I always felt a stronger bond with my Laura Grace, but to have the blessing of the Moon Goddess is truly a privilege. One I do not take for granted." He looks down at me with adoration. "With that I would like to toast to all of you for bearing witness and to the Moon Goddess for her blessing." He says as he lifts up his glass and then reaches down and taps my glass and drinks his champagne. "Now let's eat and enjoy this time." As he says this the doors open and people come bounding out with trays of food.

Max and I are almost done eating when his father came up behind us. "Son?" He put his hand on Max's shoulder as Max stands up. "I knew, I knew she was the one." He said smiling and pointing his finger at me as I stood to hug him.

"Thank you, father." Max shakes his hand.

"I need to tell you both something." He says nervously. "I have known for a while," he says putting his head down then looks over to his table. I follow his eyes and see Darla, she is grinning and then bows her head.
