"Because you told him to?" Max repeats what Dixon just said but with a much angrier tone. I just look at Dixon and shake my head. "And can I ask why?"

"I had a vision." Flint says defiantly.

"But you said you didn't get visions; you could just manipulate people or compulsion." Sarah states.

"I have had more 'powers' come at me lately. It all started that day you came and smelt like Cherries. At first, I thought I had lost my mind, but then you told me you were teaching some warrior the tricks we learned at..." Sarah interrupted him.

"You can stop there. You mean to tell me that for the last 6 months you knew you had a mate and were getting more abilities and didn't tell me." Sarah gets around Max and Dixon to stand face to face with Flint, who is towering over her.

"I didn't know she was my mate. I am new to this whole thing, how was I supposed to know?" Flint says defensively crossing his arms and looking down at her. He must have gotten taller and almost looks more muscular than when I last saw him as I now start really looking at him tower over Sarah. "You never told me any of that, you just told me to train the other guys. I saw the day of the attack and knew that they were going to come over the ridge on the North and the West. I took care of the West and left you for the North. I had no idea it was going to be because of Chief." Flint is still looking down at Sarah in a staring contest as Tanner comes to her side.

"You mean one, you are a siren too? And two how did you take out the whole West side by yourself?" Tanner is now nose to nose with Flint.

"First, seduction is easy, it wasn't much more than learning the pressure points and androgenous zones. Two, well that zap thing she does." He says pointing at Sarah. "I now do that too. Let's just say all was quiet on the Western front." Flint tells them with his arms still folded looking stone faced at Tanner as Sasha reaches up and puts her hand on his shoulder to calm him down. Flint feels her touch and looks down at her and he softens. As he turns to look at her his face turns to confusion and then turns back to Sarah, "Can you please explain why when she touches me or gets near me I go all soft, loose my train of thought and beast wants to bite her neck and make her mine? He just keeps saying she's mine." Flint says to Tanner and then Sarah as he pulls his hands through his short hair.

"Flint we never discussed mates, I know, I should have told you it is different for our kind verses when we were human. As a Lycan you are given a mate, like a soul mate and they are bonded to you. Once you mark them, which is biting them they are bonded to you." Sarah explains. "She is like your other half and with her you will feel whole. She also will make a great partner for missions. Even more so after you bite her, and she becomes lycan. Have you not wanted to have sex with her?" Sarah says as if it's nothing giving and giving general information. As Tanner coughs and shakes his head.

"Well yeah, when they got on the helicopter and I smelled her I almost lost it. It took all the training I had to complete the mission. I took out my concealing spray and handed it to her just so we could get through with it. Well until she forgot to watch her flank and almost got killed, I felt it before it happened, and my beast took over." Flint is looking at her like he would any soldier that made a mistake on a mission then looks back at Sarah. "When we got back here, she took me to her room and started kissing me so I threw her in the closet and shut the door till I could figure this out."

"I tried to tell him, but he kept telling me I has lost my mind due to the mission." Sasha said. "Is he going to reject me?" Sasha takes her hands away from him and steps away from him and comes to my side. As she does this Flint growls.

"I think you need to move back to my side before the beast comes out." Flint says to Sasha. "I don't know what it means to reject someone, but the beast inside me tells me if you leave me he will hunt you down, so I think you need to move your ass back to my flank now." Flint eyeing her as she smirks and steps back to him.
