Laura Grace/Gracie/LG – POV
As we get back to the Phasing rooms on the side of the house I go in and walk to the shower and rinse off quickly and then put my clothes back on. When I walk out of the rooms, I am greeted by a still wet haired Max. "Those rooms are genius, was that you?" I smiled and nodded.
"Who wants a dirty wolf running in the house, plus it just helps with losing clothes we have a closet in there, did you see it?" I say walking towards the spa as he follows taking my hand and kissing the knuckles.
"Yes, I think we need a few at the new place. Maybe more because we will have more people there than here." He said looking toward our land.
"How many do you have in the Royal Pack?" I look up at him questioning.
"Oh, around Five thousand. Most are Warriors, but some are part of the construction business. And some have their own businesses or shops so having a main street go thru it all makes sense." He looks at me and stops walking. "What are you thinking. You have that look like you're really contemplating something." Max stops me and turns to face me.
"I am starting to think we need to incorporate and make a town. That ways we get tax benefits for the businesses, but at the same time it doesn't help the Packs with their finances we keep all taxes low on the land..." I finally look up at him and he is just looking down at me in pure amazement. "What? Is something wrong. You think the tax write offs are not worth it?" I shrug trying to get his reaction.
"Laura Grace, I don't know what to say. I have advisors, you don't have anyone, but you. And I am beginning to realize I may not need any other advisors." As he leans down and kisses me softly on the lips.
"Well I am not perfect, I just get ideas and run with them." I look at him honestly.
"Are you coming in here or going to make out some more in the street?" Charlie yells from the Spa. "We have a party to get ready for and your slacking!" She is still standing in the door. I look at her and glare. "Oh, someone phased and feels confident? Now she is laughing at me.
"Charlie! Go inside!" Max yells at her.
"Wow, touchy. By the way Max the boys are in the Bar!" She walks inside.
"I gotta go." I get on my toes and peck his cheek. I run towards the spa. "Meet me at 5 in the foyer?"
"Can't wait." He walks slowly towards the bar a few stores down.
I walk into the Spa and Sophie runs over and pushes me towards a shampoo bowel. "You are late! And you are NEVER late, so I want details!" She says pushing me in the chair and leaning me back to wash my hair.
"I think it is safe to say we all want details." Sarah leaning forward from the dryer her hair is under. She has Velcro rollers in her short black hair, I guess to give it curls, I have no clue its always straight with a blunt cut. Guess that will be something new.
"Um, I don't know if I want to hear all her details." Charlie says almost cringing. "I guess I will have to picture it as someone other than Max." she shakes her head thinking about it.
"I want to hear Lizzie's! I know Sarah already planned on Marking Tanner and Charlie and Travis I was not surprised, but Kyle Marked you!" I try to sit up but Sophie keeps my head down.
Lizzie giggles. "Well, I Marked him, and I think he did it as a reflex, or he lost control of his wolf. He said he would have done it, but we hadn't discussed it. I figured I am an Alpha I can take what I want, I want him, and he needed to know that. So, in Sarah's words, I marked his ass!" She laughs at the end. "Plus, the gigantic Diamond ring helped me know he wanted it." She flings he hand in the air. "What did you get Gracie? Sarah got a black diamond, and Charlie a Sapphire." They held up their hands. I held up mine and Charlie's eyes went wide.
