I look down at my white gown that we found back at Gloria's at Lost Souls. The Boatneck dress that puddles around my feet hiding my Red Ferragamo's. I turn and look out the window of the car. The windows are tinted, we are going thru the town down to the Moon Goddess Temple that was build by Max's ancestors to honor her. Sarah says its like a church in the human world, in ours there is a large statue of the Moon Goddess with one hand holding up the moon and the other down one the ground petting a wolf. All of Max's family have been mated in front of the statue and now it is his turn. I look to my left and Sarah sits and stares out her window, she has been very quiet since she came back to the room to put her red dress on. She is one of my "Ladies in Waiting" or what she calls a "Bridesmaid." I reach over and grab her hand. She looks at me and smiles.

"Okay you two, knock it off!" Charlie says sternly. "One," she says pointing at Sarah, "we do not know what she wants, it could be just to congratulate you about Tanner." Charlie looks at her and nods. "And two, you!" She turns and points to me. She is sitting across from Sarah in an old school limo where it is just 4 seats and the 4 of us face each other. "I can feel your nervousness, it is just a bite. Lick, bite, lick. Your done. I know it doesn't sound as appealing as ours were, but I have a feeling your going to get lost in the moment and won't even know." She says to me touching my knee and nodding. "You are LG, Chief! You have built each one of us back from a dark place. Now it is time for you to shine and get your happiness. You got it?" She demands as she looks me in the eyes and I nod and smile. I look at Lizzie and she has tears in her eyes and she nods.

"I am so proud to have you as my sister for all these years, it is time for you to be who you were meant to be." Lizzie says putting her hand over Charlies.

"We gonna do this?" Sarah says looking at our hands all on top of each other. And I nod. She rolls her eyes and leans over and puts hers on top. "I am not saying anything else sappy. You got enough from me this morning." She says looking at all of them and then nods towards me. "Just bite his ass and your good." She shrugs.

"I love you Ladies. I don't know where I would be without you." I say looking around.

"You would be in a boardroom, rolling your eyes at Mr. Pee Pants." Charlie says letting out a small laugh. As Lizzie and Sarah nod and laugh as I do.

The car stops and I look over and see the Temple and it has Red Banners with some crest on it. I look over to Charlie, she already knows what I am thinking. "It's the family crest. You will get used to it." I nod and see the car in front of us had my family in it, my parents along with my brother his mate and their new baby get out. At the top of the steps is Emi, she is in a red dress as well, waiting for us.

My brother and his mate walk up first then my parents and then Charlie and Lizzie walk together up the steps Sarah is holding my elbow.

"Chief?" She starts to walk with me up the steps. It looks like 100 of them but it is more like 50 or so.

"Yeah?" I hold my dress up a bit in the front and she has a bit of the back so I don't step on it.

"I am gonna mark Tanner tonight." She tells me as I stop and look at her. "It's beyond time."

I look at her and nod, "I agree, but only if your sure."

"Positive." She nods as we start walking and then I stop again and look at her.

"This has nothing to do with Huma?" I ask her looking her straight in the eye's.
