Longing

"Miss Maxi, I already informed your parents about your achievement in Louque University and your mother is very proud of you." natutuwang sabi sa akin ni Nanny Ven pero diretso lang ako sa kusina para kainin ang hinanda niyang agahan ko.

This is my life here in UK. Even though I party hard, I still try to study and to show it to my Mom that I am worth to be her daughter too.

Though growing up I never met her or even talk to her not even just a phone call to hear her voice.

Naiintindihan ko naman ang sitwasyon niya eh. She's a wife of the famous Presidential Candidate, Benedic Salvatore. Their family was perfect and I am her one and only flaw that's why I need to stay here.

To hide.

Wala na rin ang Papa ko kaya, mag isa ko na lang na natitira. Kasama ko naman si Nanny Ven na siyang nag alaga sa akin magmula nung bata ako. Purong pilipina din siya masyadong matagal na nga lang siya dito tumira kaya hindi halata.

"So... your Mum wanted to grant you a wish. Anything you want? Just say it and I'll tell her." ngiti niya sa akin na ikinatango ko lang.

I am not interested. Alam ko rin naman yan eh. Bags? Golden necklace? Money? A land? Anything or everything that money can buy.

I don't know but I only want one thing in my life and that is to live in the Philippines. To see her. And to be accepted that I am also a part of her family.

I also wanna feel her love for me.

"Alam mo anak kesa magmukmok ka dyan... why don't you use this chance to go to home?" suggestion niya sa akin na ikinatingin ko sakanya.

Right. My wish? But I doubt she's gonna grant it. Hmm, pero subukan ko.

I was about to say something but my phone rang. "Thanks, Nanny Ven." ngiting tipid ko sakanya at umalis na.

Maybe...

Just maybe this time, I can pursuade her to live in the Philippines.
After some discussions with my Mom through Nanny Ven, she finally said yes under some conditions.

Of course, I still can't go to her.

And I am going to live in a penthouse alone and then she'll provide everything that I need. Okay na ako dun. Atleast pag nasa Pinas ako, makakasama ko ang best friend ko magmula pagkabata at sa Campus mismo.

I am pretty damn excited as fuck!

Pagkatapak ko palang ng Airport, mainit na klima ang sumalubong sa akin kaya naman tinanggal ko yung coat ko at sinuot ang shades ko. Hindi man ako sanay sa lugar na to but I am pretty sure I am going to enjoy it here.

"MAXINE!!? MAXI!!" rinig kong malakas mula sa bestfriend ko na ikinangiti ko nung makita kong tumatakbo siya papalapit sa akin para yakapin ako ng mahigpit.

"I already processed your papers and guess what...?" natutuwang sabi niya sa akin. Gosh! I can't believe she has still this happy aura in her to the point where I can't help but feel happy too.
