Harry's pov

Today is the day y/n comes back from wherever she went to help Dumbledore. I'm a nervous wreck. I already took two doses of the calming draught Hermione made but I was still pacing mad. What if she decided to stay longer? What if she got hurt? Or worse died? "Harry, babe, calm down! I'll be here soon," I heard Hermione say. Wait. She never left and she never calls me babe. I turned around and was greeted with the beautiful e/c eyes that I've missed so much. Today was already a very stressful day, so knowing that y/n was safe relieved me slightly. Today is the day of Buckbeak's execution.

I started to hear soft sniffles into my shoulder. I looked down at the h/n. (hair name, brunette, blonde, etc.) She was crying softly while holding me. As strong as she is, she has a big soft spot for animals. The scene before made my heart ache. I hated to watch her cry because it made me cry. A tear escaped from my eye while I put my face in the crook of her neck. Yes, we were in the middle of the common room with a bunch of people staring at us, but I didn't care. I wanted to make sure Little Red was okay. I twirled a strand of the red hair she had added using her metamorphic abilities. I gently pulled her into the boys' dorms. It was around 10:00am on a Saturday and I barely got any sleep because I couldn't contain my excitement to see y/n again.

I was tired so I laid down on the bed. She must've been tired too because once she snuggled into my chest her soft snores filled the room. I smiled lightly, glad to have my love in my arms again. Sure we're 13, but I can't deny it anymore. I love her. Yes, I've told her before, but I don't know if she knows how much.

Me, y/n, Ron, and Hermione were on our way to Hagrid's to comfort him. "Beautiful day," Hermione said while we walked, probably trying to lighten the mood. "Yeah! When your not being torn to pieces!" Ron exclaimed. "What do you mean?" I asked curiously. "Why can't you just smile and nod, smile and nod?" y/n asked sarcastically. I laughed slightly before Ron started to explain what happened. "That cat ate Scabbers! I can't find him anywhere!" he shouted angrily. "Rubbish!" Hermione responded, annoyed. "I hope it's dead," I heard y/n mumble. I wonder why.

We walked down near the tall stones that made a path towards the hut. Malfoy and his goons were going to watch the execution from afar through binoculars. What a sicko! Before anyone could register anything, y/n started charging at Malfoy. "You dramatic, cowardly bitch! I can't believe you were about to watch an innocent animal be beheaded through those motherfucking binoculars!" She grabbed the binoculars and threw them. Far. Before we knew it, she had a wand at his throat. I wanted whatever she was gonna do, to happen so I didn't say anything. I watched in amusement. Ron, on the other hand, decided to speak up. "Y/N! He's not worth it!" Ron exclaimed.

"You're right. This white bitch isn't worth anything!" she screamed as she punched him in the face. He fell to the ground saying something about his dad. "Yeah! Run! Run like the cowardly bitch you are!" she called after him. Before she did anything else, I kissed her so she would calm down. Luckily it worked and she sighed shakily. "Hey, hey. It's alright. You don't deserve to feel sad about what a white ferret, like Malfoy, did," I told her softly. She chuckled lightly, making me a little happier. "You can bring him back, remember?" I reminded her. She sighed in relief, probably just realizing she could do that. "Thank you Harry," she said before pecking my lips and jogging slightly to Hagrid's Hut.

We knocked on the door and Hagrid was crying softly but wiped his tears with a handkerchief. I saw y/n put a comforting hand on his shoulder. She was floating on a cloud she must've made to reach his shoulder. He looked at her gratefully and sighed heavily. Shakily, poured tea into cups and handed them to all of us. "Yeh lot shouldn' be down here," Hagrid grunted. "We wanted to make sure you were ok," y/n squeaked looking at the half-giant. He chuckled bitterly. "Dumbledore's comin' down when....when it happens," Hagrid trailed off. "Great man, Dumbledore!" Hagrid exclaimed regaining his composure. "We'll stay too, Hagrid," Hermione offered. "We'll/You'll do no such thing!" y/n and Hagrid slightly shouted at the same time. "Yeh need to get goin'. Oh and before I forget. Ron you need to take better care of yer pets," Hagrid handed him Scabbers.

"I think you someone an apology!" Hermione exclaimed. "Oh, right. Next time I see Crookshanks I'll let him know," Ron faked sympathy. Y/n hit him upside the head. "Ow," he whined in pain. "I meant me!" Hermione clarified. Then something hit a vase that contained sand. We didn't think much of it until one hit the back of my head. "You good?" y/n asked me after I muttered a quick 'ow'. I nodded and looked outside. "Guys! They're here!" I exclaimed quietly. "Yeh shouldn' be here! It's gettin' dark out! Yeh'll get in trouble! Particularly you, Harry," Hagrid gestured to me. "Out through the back! Come on!" he ushered us out. Before I left I tried reassuring everything would be ok. He thanked me before quickly ushering us out. We hid behind Hagrid's pumpkin patch listening to the distinct voices of Fudge and Dumbledore.

Hermione whipped around looking into the forest. "What?" I asked. "Hermione, it was just a bowtruckle. I saw it step on a stick," y/n clarified. We ran up towards the tall stones. We saw the axe go down and heard a splat. Hermione cried into Ron's shoulder while I was expecting the impact of y/n but instead I saw her down by the hut again. What is she up to?

y/n's pov

While the trio ran up to the stones I stayed back. I knew what was going on. Hermione used the time turner to save Bucky. I, for some reason, always sensed the magic of the necklace. I pretended to leave so she could continue her mission. I looked back over and saw Harry too. Seriously? I asked her in her head. You let Harry come with you and not me? That hurts! I exclaimed sarcastically. I'll distract Fudge and the executioner. You get Bucky. Also use ferrets. It'll help, I explained. "Hey Fudge! Long time no see!" I exclaimed standing in front of the doorway of the hut. Fudge looked frightened. "I thought you weren't allowed in the same room as me? That is a violation of the contract we signed, Ms. Gryffindor," Fudge recalled. "Technically, I'm not in the same room as you," I retorted. "I...well....very well," he stuttered. "What do you want?" he asked rather harshly. "Damn dude! No need to be so harsh," I muttered. "I was wondering the real reason Buckbeak is being sentenced to death?" I asked him. "He is a danger to wizardkind," he answered angrily. "The wizardkind who don't know what they're doing. I don't think this execution thing will be necessary, sir," I coughed to cover up a laugh. "And why is that Ms. Gryffindor?" "Because he is no longer present, Mr. Fudge," I answered smugly.
