y/n's pov
Right before we left for Diagon Alley I decided to give Harry the pendant. Mainly because I just remembered about it. "Here. This necklace will show our friendship and loyalty to each other. Always wear it. I don't care if people can see it or not but you must always wear it," I threatened him as I put the pendant around his neck. He tucked the pendant underneath his shirt and nodded at my request. "The plan is that you and the Weasley's will use floo powder to get to Florish and Blotts while I teleport. And before you ask why you can't teleport with me, it's because you should get familiar with a lot of different wizarding traveling methods. I won't always be here," I told Harry and he nodded.
I teleported to the Florish and Blotts fireplace and waited for the Weasleys and the Potter to come out. All the Weasleys came but the Potter is missing. "Where's Harry?" I asked them. They shrugged and Fred said, "He went right before us," George continued, "but he also said 'Diagonally' instead of Diagon Alley." "Why does he have to be so....Harry all the time!" I exclaimed. Then I remembered the pendant. "Harry. Harry! HARRY!" I yelled at it. "What are you doing? He's not going to be able to hear you or talk to you through the pendant," Ron laughed. "Actually I can Ron. I don't know why but I can," Harry's voice said. This time I laughed at Ron's shocked face. "Where are you?" I asked. "Well I'm with Hagrid and Hermione in front of Florish and Blotts," Harry responded. "Hi y/n! Hi Weasleys!" Hermione's voice greeted. "Hey 'ere y/n, Weasleys!" Hagrid's voiced greeted this time. "We're inside Florish and Blotts right now so come in and find us and we'll try to find you," I told Harry.
I put the pendant back resting on my chest. I soon as I walked near the center of the shop I spotted the messy mob of black hair. I slapped the back of his head to show him where I am and because he was stupid enough to diagonally instead of Diagon Alley. Then a crowd started to form around a table with the same book stacked and the cover of the book on a small piece of poster board. "Magical Me By: Gilderoy Lockhart" it read. Whoever this Lockhart human is, I already know I'm not going to like him. The title of the book seems like a self absorbed brat who probably stole stories from other witches and wizards, obliviated them, then made it into a book. "How much you wanna bet he stole all of his adventures from other witches and wizards, obliviated them, then turned the adventure into a book as if he did it?" I whispered to Harry. "30 galleons. Like last year. I doubt you'll win this time," Harry and I shook hands.
Lockhart strutted out of the back room in expensive attire and an expression that he's full of himself. Smug and famous are not a good combination. "Can you take back the bet? According to the looks of him I think you're right," Harry whispered. "Nope! We already shook on it!" I exclaimed quietly. I heard him grunt in disapproval. The Lockhart dude started talking but I was dozing off until I heard him say "Harry Potter." I looked up and saw Harry uncomfortably moving forward. Lockhart side hugged Harry hard and they took a picture which according to Lockhart was gonna "raid the front page." This guy is stupid. Harry got all the books from Lockhart for free and Molly said she's going to get them signed. I wouldn't want anything signed by a buffoon. We all were leaving when Malfoy came in front of us and stopped us.
"I bet you loved that, didn't you Potter? Famous Harry Potter. Can't even go into a book store without making the front page," Malfoy spat. "Sounds like someone's jealous," I said in a sing song voice quietly. A couple chuckles were heard from the twins who were the only ones who heard me. "Leave him alone," Ginny said. Way to stand your ground Gin. "Oh look Potter. You got yourself a girlfriend!" Malfoy laughed. "At least girls voluntarily talk to him, unlike you, they're either forced or payed," I retorted. "Oh yeah? What about Pansy, huh? Ever think about that?" Malfoy snapped back. "Oh please. You don't even like Pug Face. Besides she only agrees with you and bats her eyelashes. She's like a lost pug and you're her owner," I shot back, "Oh take me away with you Draco. Oh please! I want to be yours forever," I set my voice and octave higher to sound more like Pansy. Everyone besides Malfoy was laughing now. "Well at least I still have a dad!" Malfoy hissed. Everyone flinched because they knew how sensitive I was about my dad. I couldn't let him see it though. "Just cause he's dead doesn't mean he's not my father. I still have a dad. Although not alive, he's more alive than you'll ever be. Your a daddy's boy. In other words your daddy's barbie doll!" I snapped and ran out of the book shop before I punched him. I wish I could but I know better than that.
Time skip
"Y/n! Y/n!" Harry's voice sounded in the pendant. "Yes?" I answered back. "Where are you? I can hear you, but I can't see you," he said. "It's the pendant you dummy. It's like a two way mirror. You call the other person's name and you can see and hear them in the pendant," I explained. "Oh. Well you still didn't answer my question! Where are you?" Harry asked again. "I'm with my grandfather right now. I already have all my supplies so I decided to talk to him for a bit. I'll meet you back at the Burrow," and with that I teleported to the Burrow.
