y/n's pov

My school related stuff won't be very eventful for the next two weeks. The only thing that happens to me, are the junior auror tests. Today is my Transfiguration test. I have to turn a portion of the forbidden forest's trees into ladybugs than turn them back in less than an hour. I started to turn the portion of trees into ladybugs. The tricky part is catching the ladybugs and turning them back. I decided to petrify them so they can't move. With this method, I was done in half an hour. Professor McGonagall was quite pleased. Dumbledore was really happy about how my testing was going. He was certain that I would become the youngest, and one of the better, aurors in the wizarding world. In two days is the potions test. My least favorite subject. Yay. Note the sarcasm.

It's time for my potions test and I couldn't be more nervous. I was sitting in the dungeons in Snape's classroom shaking from the cold and nerves. Because I disliked this subject I didn't pay as much attention to it. Hopefully, the stuff I did memorize, is enough. "You will be brewing the most difficult potion in the wizarding world. The Draught of Living Death. How accurate it is compared to a one made correctly will be your score for this test. Like the other tests, you have an hour. Any questions?" Snape explained. "Nope," I popped the p. This going to be a long hour. I started brewing the potion adding ingredients and swirling the potion with my wand. After about 45 minutes the potion was ready to be tested. I made sure to have the Wiggenweld Potion on hand to reverse the potion I made if it worked. "The color is very accurate, the texture is, also, correct. Now for the effect," Snape said. He took a swig of my potion and dropped to the floor instantly, snoring softly. I opened his mouth and poured in the Wiggenweld Potion. "Thank you. The potion is, indeed, accurate. You have passed," Snape's monotone voice rang. I nodded, said a small "thank you," and headed to the Gryffindor tower. Next week would be Charms and Defense Against the Dark Arts.

It's now time for Charms. My Charms test shouldn't be too hard. I, honestly, enjoy charms. I excel in it, even when it's this advanced. Same with DADA. I love most subjects that mean defending yourself with a wand. I was waiting for instructions in Flitwick's classroom. "You will be performing, perhaps, the most difficult charm known to wizard. The Patronus Charm," Flitwick explained. That's it? I always thought that one was the easiest. Then again, I do have a lot of happy moments with Harry. "If you cannot produce a corporeal patronus in an hour, you will fail," Flitwick finished. He nodded for me to start trying and I did. "Expecto Patronum," I recited in my head. Out of the tip of my wand came a doe who was prancing around with some butterflies I made from the wind. "Very good, Ms. Gryffindor! Pretty butterflies too, I must add," Flitwick congratulated me. "Thank you! I love monarchs myself," I told him. He nodded and gave me a slip of paper with his signature to prove that I passed. In three days will be Defense Against the Dark Arts.

DADA! Now I'm really excited! No sarcasm this time! This is my favorite subject by far and I must say, I'm quite good at it. It was during lunch so I wasn't missing much. Besides I could eat while Hermione is in class and I'm free to roam the halls. We were in the courtyard getting ready for the test. "You will be dueling Professor Snape, who is one of the better duelers on our staff. I would duel you, personally, but I wanted to see what you're capable of first. After all, it's been 2 months since I've seen you perform DADA," Dumbledore explained. "You will duel Professor Snape once with a wand and once without. If I see you are powerful enough I may want to duel you myself," Dumbledore finished. Me and Snape did the usual dueling stances before a duel. "NOW!" Dumbledore yelled indicating to start the duel. "Expelliarmus!" Snape casted. "Protego Maxima," I recited in my head. The spell bounced off my shield like spell and directly at Snape. His wand went flying out of his hand while he was shot backwards. "Accio Snape's wand," I recited in my head. Snape's wand came flying into my grasp. "Petrificus Totalus," I casted in my head, again. Snape lied there frozen and unable to cast another spell. I had won a duel against Snape with a wand! Now time for a duel without it.
