y/n's pov
Today was a Hogsmeade trip day. Of course, Harry had insisted I go at least once. I decided to go only because I told the Weasley twins to give Harry the map. And by the map I mean the Marauders Map. Special thanks to Prongs/James. Fast forward to the Shrieking Shack. This was the part of the trip I was worried about, mainly because I didn't want Siri to end up back in Azkaban for doing nothing. We were looking at the shack from afar. I was fiddling my thumbs trying to distract myself. "Want to move a bit closer?" Mione asked. Ron looked at her in disbelief. "What?" he asked trying to sound as normal as possible but failing miserably. "To the shack I mean," Mione clarified. "No, I'm good here," Ron answered. "When are those two gonna get together?" James asked me. I shrugged. "I just know I'm feeling like a third wheel," I murmured to him.
"Looking for your new dream home?" a voice asked. Stupid Malfoy. "Little grand for you Weaselbee. Don't your family sleep in uh one room?" Malfoy teased. I rolled my eyes. "Shut your mouth, Malfoy," Ron muttered. "Oooh not so friendly," Malfoy continued. "Again with owl noises! It's not intimidating!" I yelled at him. I heard James snort as Malfoy looked slightly angered but his eyes softened when they landed on me. "Hello, love! I didn't see you there," he spoke. "I wish he still didn't," I muttered to my two best friends. They chuckled and so did James and Lily. "I was wondering if you wanted to go to the Three Broomsticks and get a drink or something," he offered. "1. Stop calling me love or I'll make sure you can't talk ever again. 2. I have a boyfriend who I don't plan on cheating on. And 3. I would start running in 3...2...1," I said noticing Harry's footprints. I snowball came hurtling towards him.
"Who's there?" he asked scared. "If you need some help looking let me get your hair out of your face," I told him braiding his hair with the wind. It was hilarious. "Hey look! Now he looks like a barbie doll! Buh bye daddy's boy!" I yelled after him after he started to run. Harry started playing with Mione's hair and Ron's hat. "Harry!" Mione and I exclaimed at the same time laughing. Harry took off the cloak laughing. "Bloody hell, Harry! That was not funny!" Ron sighed. "Come on! You've got to admit it was a little funny," I said nudging Ron. He just rolled his eyes.
Ron and Hermione started walking away from the shack while Harry and I were still gazing at it. Well I thought we were both gazing at it. When I turned my head Harry was looking at me. I smiled and blushed a little at the thought of my boyfriend staring at me. "What did my dad say? The time we almost kissed? To make you stop?" he asked. "He said, 'shouldn't you consult the parent before you kiss their child?' But come to think of it, I'm pretty sure he kissed a bunch of random girls at random times without even knowing their names," I realized, remembering what Siri said. I looked at James who was wide eyed. "Sirius?" Lily asked. I nodded. "Come on! Ron and Mione might be wondering where we went. Ron is going to think of the worst and Hermione's going to scold him for thinking it," I joked.
We caught up with the two friends and started talking about the map. "Finally! It's in the hands of a marauder's descendant! My worries are all gone!" James exclaimed once Harry explained how he got to Hogsmeade in the first place. "Those Weasels never told me anything about a map!" Ron groaned frustrated. Harry was covered in my scarf and Ron's hat to make his appearance a little different so he wouldn't get caught. We turned the corner and saw Fudge with Professor McGonagall and Hagrid. "That's Madam Rosmerta. Ron fancies her," Hermione teased slightly bitter. "Somebody's jealous," I muttered so only the Potters could hear. They all chuckled at my comment. "How's business my dear, Rosmerta?" Fudge asked after stepping over horse poop. "It'd be better if the Ministry didn't send dementors into my pub every other night!" she yelled frustrated. Fudge had stepped into the poop as Rosmerta was advancing on him. "We have a killer on the loose!" Fudge exclaimed quietly. "Sirius Black in Hogsmeade? What would bring him here?" Rosmerta cried. "Harry Potter," Fudge answered quietly. "Harry Potter?" She repeated louder. It was like a Deja Vu moment from the first time we told Harry Voldemort's name. It was followed by a bunch of shushing.
Harry disappeared under the cloak. I could see his tracks and I could tell Ron and Hermione could too. "Give him this one. I'll tell you what's going on," I held back the red head and brunette. They nodded and sat down on the bench outside the pub as I began to explain. "That's horrible!" Hermione whisper shouted. "Bloody hell," Ron muttered. "Don't tell Harry I told you this," I told them strictly. They nodded. I heard the door open and close but no one came out. I saw Harry's footsteps and saw the carolers break apart. Ron and Hermione went ahead of me. Ever since I told Ron and Hermione the point of view people had, James wouldn't stop yelling. "James! I get it! It was Wormtail! I know! Just shut up!" I yelled at him. He shut up and I went to find Harry, Hermione, and Ron. I found them near the Shrieking Shack again. "HE WAS THERE FRIEND!" Harry screamed.
I sprinted towards him and embraced him into a hug. He hugged back immediately. "I hope he finds me! Cause when he does, I'll be ready! I'm gonna kill him!" Harry threatened. He starting sobbing into the crook of my neck. Ron and Hermione left after about two minutes probably feeling like third wheels. To be fair that's how I felt when I was with them before Harry came along. After another 15 minutes he looked me in the eyes. He leaned in and this time I didn't stop leaning in. I kissed him and he kissed me back. The feeling of his soft lips against mine was the best feeling ever. We had to pull away to breathe. Stupid oxygen. "I've been wanting to do that since we were 10," Harry breathed. "I've been wanting to do it since we were 11. If only we admitted sooner," I told him. He chuckled slightly but his mood was still dark.
"I know what will cheer you up!" I exclaimed. "We can have some hot cocoa and cuddle by the fire!" Harry's face visibly lightened up at the suggestion. "We can teleport if you want," I offered. "Why didn't we teleport before?" he asked. "Because we can be stupid sometimes," I responded in a joking manner. Harry laughed slightly before confirming he was ready to teleport. We got to the kitchens and I asked Dobby to make 2 hot chocolates, seeing as Libby and Darcy were busy. We got our hot chocolate and teleported us to the common room. I snuggled into his chest. We sat there for hours talking about random topics and sneaking in occasional kisses.
