y/n's pov

I was sitting in my room really upset. Since the beginning of summer I hadn't been able to find my broomstick so it prevented me from visiting Harry which really upset me. And Harry too I'm sure. I was about to start packing my things when I heard a pop. Luckily my mom was at work or she would've flipped out to see a house elf in the middle of my bedroom. "Hello little house elf. What's your name?" I asked softly. "Dobby, Ms. Gryffindor. Dobby is here to ask Ms. Gryffindor to watch after Harry Potter. Take these and make sure he wears this one. It is similar to a two way mirror. That way you can always communicate to each other. Dobby just wants Harry Potter to be safe. Hogwarts is not safe now," Dobby spoke quite fast and timidly. "Would you like something to eat or drink before you go?" I asked politely. I love house elves. They're like animals you can talk to. "No thank you Ms. Gryffindor-" I cut him off. "Please call me y/n, Ms. Gryffindor is way to formal." "Well, y/n, Dobby must go before Master Luci- my master finds out I'm gone. Goodbye y/n!" and with another pop Dobby was gone.

I looked at the pendants. I remembered reading about two way mirrors. You say the other person's name and you'll be able to see and communicate with them. I'll have to give this to Harry once we see each other again. I started packing this time with no interruption. I'm going to the Burrow, the Weasley's house, for the rest of the summer. There is some sort of rescue plan for Harry but I decided not to get in trouble with my mom or Mrs. Weasley. I was all packed and ready. I left a goodbye note on the counter and teleported to the Burrow living room.

"Where the Weasley's at? I'm here!" I made my presence known quite dramatically. "Y/N!" the twins ran downstairs and hugged me. "Did someone say y/n?" I heard Ron yell from upstairs. I decided to scare him so I teleported to where he was. "Hey look! It's my favorite foodie!" I yelled in his ear when I arrived to my destination. "Bloody hell, y/n!" He tackled me into a hug. We have a brother sister bond so we do a lot of things siblings do. I don't do that with Harry so there is a chance I could get into a relationship with him. "Where the bloody hell is y/n?" Oops. I forgot to tell Ann I was leaving.

"There you are! I saw the goodbye note on the counter. Why didn't you tell me you were leaving?" she asked. I shrugged, "I forgot." "Of course you did," she grumbled. I rolled my eyes and spotted a young girl with red hair as well. This must be Ginny. "Hi! Are you Ginny? Ron and the twins talk about you a lot. All good things though. You have really pretty hair! Can I braid it?" The once timid girl was now jumping up and down and dragging me to her room. "Oh, y/n dear, you and Ginny will be sharing a room. Is that alright?" Mrs. Weasley called up to me. "Yes, it's perfectly fine Mrs. Weasley!" I yelled back. "Now we get to spend even more time with each other!" I exclaimed. After one night of talking, Ginny was like the little sister I always wanted. Yes I had Ann as a great girl friend but she's more of a babysitter. Hermione is basically my twin sister so it's nice to have a younger sister, even if it's not by blood.

"WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?" I woke up to Mrs. Weasley's screams. "Oh shits about to go down," i muttered and got out of bed to see the twins, Ron, and HARRY! "NO NOTE? CAR GONE! YOU COULD'VE DIED! YOU COULD'VE BEEN SEEN! Of course I don't blame you, Harry dear," Mrs. Weasley's tone changes real quick. Wow. "They were starving him mum! They put bars on his window!" Ron said desperately trying to sound like a hero. "Well you best hope she doesn't put bars on your window Ronald," I laughed. I was standing behind a wall so no one could see me. I stepped out from behind it and walked into view.

Ron scowled at me and Harry's, once guilty face, turned into a joyful face. Before I knew it Harry came running towards me and engulfed me into a hug. I hugged back immediately and the hug lasted for a good ten seconds before we let go. That summer had been the longest we'd been separated. I still don't know where my broom is. "Oh, uh, here's your broom. A house elf took it," Harry handed me my Cleansweep 7. I could get a better broom. There's no doubt about that, but this has a few fragments of my father's old broom so it's really important to me.

It was now breakfast time and I took the seat in between Ron and Harry. Ron's pigging out as usual and Mrs. Weasley was giving both me and Harry even more food. I don't eat a lot unless I haven't eaten all day so I gave 3/4 of my plate to Ron who scarfed it down. "Thank you for breakfast Mrs. Weasley. It was delicious!" I complimented. "Oh it was nothing dear and please call me Molly. Mrs. Weasley is way to formal in my opinion," Molly said. I nodded and stood up to put my dishes in the sink. "Mummy? Have you seen my jumper?" Ginny asked when she came downstairs. "Oh yes dear. Why don't you check the cat?" Molly suggested.

Ginny saw Harry and stopped in her tracks. She then rushed up the stairs and hid away again. I knew why because last night while we were talking she revealed she had a small crush on Harry. I laughed a little. "What did I do?" Harry asked utterly confused. "That was Ginny. She's been talking about you all summer. Getting kind of annoying really," Ron complained. "Well, Ginny revealed to me that you couldn't stop talking about a certain bushy haired girl whose name starts with H and ends in ermione," I teased. "You're one to talk," Fred said. "You wouldn't shut up about Harry," George finished. I noticed Harry's face turned pink. "And like I told you before. This summer was the longest we've been separated. We would always be together at least weekly," I explained. I saw Harry's smile falter a bit. I know it's invasion of privacy but I really want to know what's going on in that little noggin of his. Of course she only talked about me because we were separated. She'll never like me the way I like her, Harry thought. Okay I definitely shouldn't have done that.
