|Y/N'S POV|
I was at the Burrow at 5:30 in the morning. Today is the day of the Quidditch World Cup. I was offered one of the best seats in the stadium by the Bulgarian team, but I declined because I would rather sit with my friends. I was sharing a room with Hermione and Ginny, the only girls other than Mrs. Weasley, in the house. Hermione had left half an hour ago to wake up Ron. I wish I could say I'm surprised, but knowing Ron for three, almost four, years I expected him to give her a hard time. I was already ready, just brushing through Ginny's auburn hair with her purple hairbrush. Once I finished we both exited the room.
I was stopped by a certain pair of redheaded twins with candy sticking out of their pockets. I was one of the only people the Weasley twins had trusted enough to tell me about their dream joke shop 'Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes'. I gave them a subtle glare, stopping completely, giving them my complete attention. "We want you to try our newest product," George started.
"Ton Tongue Toffee," Fred finished.
"Hell no! I'm sure Ron'll try it though. He's still half asleep. He won't give it a second thought. Especially since it's candy," I suggested.
"This is why we come to you (y/n)!" they exclaimed, rushing up the stairs to Ron's room. I rolled my eyes continuing my walk down the stairs. Once I entered the kitchen I smelt all the goods Molly had made for breakfast.
"Oh (y/n), darling, would you be a dear and get Ronald out of bed? Hermione came down a few minutes ago telling me he wouldn't budge," Molly requested.
"Sure, but I'm sure Fred and George got it covered. They just went up to his room," I answered, returning to the stairs. As I started walking up, I was knocked down by a half asleep panicking Ronald Weasley. "Whoa there buddy, calm down," I tried to settle him down but he just kept pointing at his mouth bouncing up and down as his tongue grew rapidly. I could hear the twins laughs from upstairs but decided to focus on the Weasley with a malfunctioning tongue. "You ate the candy Fred and George gave you didn't you?" I asked knowingly. Sure I suggested it, but I didn't think Ron would be that much of an idiot. He nodded, calming down slightly. "Reducio," I recited making Ron's now six foot tongue back to it's normal size.
"I'm gonna get those weasels!" he snarled. I patted him on the back before guiding him downstairs where Molly had made breakfast. "I can't believe I fell for that!" he yelled angrily as he sat down. He immediately attacked the waffles and bacon.
"No yelling Ronald! Percy, Bill, and Charlie are still sleeping! They will be apparating to the stadium later so let them get some sleep!" Molly scolded. "And slow down! You are going to choke!"
"Mornin' Weasleys, Hermione, and (y/n)," Arthur greeted. There were murmurs of morning greetings, but no more conversation after that. The only noises heard were the ones Molly's dish brush was making cleaning dishes and Ron growling as he ate.
"Honestly Ronald! Chew with your mouth closed!" Hermione broke the silence, startling everyone as it came from no where.
"Let's go children! If we want to make it in time to the hill! We'll be meeting with the Diggorys," Arthur announced.
"I don't understand why (y/n) can't just teleport us there," Ron pointed out.
"Absolutely not! It would probably be extremely tiring for the poor girl! You will be using the portkey at the hill with the Diggorys!" Molly was quick to respond. I muttered a quick 'thank you' before leaving with the rest of the redheads and brunette.

We made it to the hill, a dirty boot in the center. Odd. Instead of asking, I just shrugged it off thinking it wasn't very important. Sure I may have grown up around magic but my mom never let me travel with it. As we were trudging up the hill, a man with gray, straying hair waltzed up to us. "Ahh Arthur! I was wondering if you were gonna show up at all!" he boomed. Out of no where a young man, who looked a little older than me, jumped from a tree.
"Amos! Kids this is Amos Diggory and his son, Cedric," Arthur told us. We all shook hands, his hand lingering in mine a little longer than I was comfortable with. I pulled away, making his smile falter slightly but bright nevertheless. "Alright kids! Around the boot!" Arthur instructed. (a/n I'm doing this off of pure memory so don't come at me please!)
"I don't mean to be rude, but, why around the boot?" Hermione politely asked.
"It's a portkey!" Fred replied.
"A portkey?" Hermione asked, still confused.
"An object that can transport you to your destination through contact," I told her. I may not have ever used a portkey, but I had an idea of what it was. Hermione nodded slowly, touching the boot with her index finger. Everyone else followed suit. There was one spot left between Ron and Cedric, who I'm not quite comfortable with.
"Y/N!" Arthur called, but it was too late. They already vanished. Thank god for my teleportation powers. I teleported to the portkey arrival section, waiting for the fiery redhead family to pop up. "There you are y/n! Thank goodness for your teleportation. You gave us a good scare," Arthur stressed.
"Sorry, Arthur," I apologized before following him to the reception. Once we made it to the reception, I picked up a familiar pair of emerald eyes. "HARRY!" I yelled, sprinting towards him to give him a hug. Once I let go, I noticed his parents watching with smiles on their faces. "Mr. and Mrs. Potter," I nodded in acknowledgement. "I'm guessing you got everything sorted out at the Ministry if you're out here in public?"
"Yes, we did and call me Lily! Mrs. Potter makes me feel old," Lily laughed.
"You can call me James, Prongs, Prongsie, I honestly don't care, but Mr. Potter sounds like you're about to give me a lecture," James laughed. We all walked towards the Weasleys and Diggorys.
"Well this is it, Arthur!" Mr. Diggory smiled.
"See you later, Amos!" Mr. Weasley replied. "Welcome, kids, to the Quidditch Stadium!"
