"When you gone take her to see him?" My sister asked.
"Maybe the day after tomorrow, I talked to him earlier today though." I played with my daughter.
My baby's father is in jail right now for a drug charge. He's been in there for months. We're still together but sometimes it never fails for someone to tell me that I'm wasting my time and life waiting on him.
Not gone lie sometimes it's hard taking care of a baby by myself especially when his family doesn't care for our child.
Rumors went around that I cheated and the baby wasn't his, even though it was all lies, they still believed it but once I proved that the baby was his they still didn't like me.
"What y'all talked about?" She asked.
"Just telling him about Serayah, and he was talking about how his momma visited him yesterday and he was telling her that she needs to see her grandchild cause now they keep pushing back his court date so he doesn't know when he's getting out." I answered.
"So did she agree?"
"She lied on me to him talking about she been trying to see Serayah but I wouldn't let her." I said.
"She a mess."
"I'm saying likes she's 2 years old now and his momma think just because he in jail that she don't got to deal with certain stuff." I agreed.
"I'm supposed to be dropping her off over there in a lil while though." I sighed.
"Well imma let you go ahead and get her ready I'll talk to you tomorrow." She said and I hung up.
"You gone let me do your hair or you just gone keep stalling?" I looked at her but she didn't pay me any attention.
