"I wrote this when it was rainingggg outside, yeah I'm a devil with my tongue, I say what I don't mean I ain't mean I got pain that's inside." Me and Serayah sung as I drove.

"You got her hooked on Toosii too, please turn this off." Semaj said.

"Ain't nothing wrong with his music." I shrugged.

"It ain't but you play him every damn day." He laughed.

"Lies, no I don't." I said.

"Let me Bluetooth my phone." He said.

"Since I can't play Toosii, you can't play rap." I said.

"You acting like that's the only thing I listen to." He chuckled as he played a song.

As the song played I knew instantly that it was a Brent Faiyaz song. This nigga a whole criminal and he listen to Brent, I'm surprised. He got good taste.

All the homies, we came up the same way
And I swear ain't nothing change
Got a little bit of change in my pocket but I maintain
We were young and in this world, chasin' dreams and girls
Runnin' from our problems
I know that we older now, but that's what we were all about

"Not you mumbling the lyrics, what you know bout' Brent?" I chuckled.

"Yo' ass thought I ain't have good taste. What happened to don't judge a book by its cover, my feelings hurt." He said playfully.

"Boy bye." We both laughed.

"But nah for real I know a lil some." He chuckled.

I remember we would cut class, my teachers used to hate me
The only reason that I did that was to keep from goin' crazy
I didn't give a damn 'bout my grades
That's probably why we failed the ninth grade
Me and my dawg, like it or not, we came out okay

"You ever failed a grade?" I asked as I looked in the rear view mirror seeing that Serayah was sleep.

"Hell nah, I'm not slow." He said. "I actually went to college." He said.

"Semaj you for real?" I asked.

"Yea I'm for real. I graduated school and college, I got a degree in business." He said.

"Awwww Omg." I said then I hit him.

"What you hit me for?" He scrunched his face up. "That's why she so violent." He mugged me.

"Because you out here doing hood activities and you got a whole degree in business. You know what you could be doing right now?" I said.

"Why you keep saying hood activities?" He laughed.

"Because." I said.

"But I did do something, I told you I own a night club and I'm a pharmacist on the side." He chuckled.

"Pharmacist my ass." I mumbled. "But why you do that on the side when you don't have to?" I asked.

"I like fast money." He shrugged.

"But doing that is dangerous....and illegal." I said.

"They know what I'm on, ain't nobody gone fuck wit' me." He smirked.

"But what if they do?" I asked.

"Anybody that did or tried to, not even breathing no more, I'm not worried bout that, and I'm not doing this forever cause like you said I don't have to do it but I choose too. I like the adrenaline rush." He shrugged.

"So when you gone stop?" I asked.

"Whenever you tell me to." He looked at me.

"If the baby is yours you have to stop." I said.

"You and me both know the baby is mines so I don't know why you keep saying if like I'm finna be a deadbeat or some." He said. "I look like a dead beat?" He asked.

"I mean- ain't shit." We both laughed.

"You been driving for a while, you tryna set me up?" He looked at me.

"What- Semaj get the fuck." I laughed.

"Don't judge me I got ptsd." He sighed.

"You get on my nerves." I laughed.

"I got set up before for real, shit was funny as hell cause I was ahead of them the whole time." He shook his head.

"Who you get set up by?" I asked.

"Jay." He chuckled. "Nigga wasn't slick at all, that mane had his shit buckled behind him, that's how I knew what he was on." He shook his head.

"When was this?" I asked.

"Couple months before I met you." He said.

"How come you ain't kill him then?" I asked out if curiosity.

"Had to play my cards right." He said.

"You lying?" I asked.

"Yea." He said dryly and I tried not to laugh.

"So why?" I asked.

"I couldn't bring myself to kill my own brother." He said.

"But he was gone kill you, you said he tried to set you up." I said.

"Exactly, he set me up so someone else could do it cause he couldn't do it himself for the same exact reason." He said.

"You know you ask a lot of questions?" He looked at me.

"Yea and what about it? You gone beat my ass about it? I think the fuck not." I mumbled and he just kept looking at me.

"Shut the fuck up." He finally turned away.

Sir yes sir🌚

"Should've known you was finna come to Juicy Crab." He shook his head.

"Yessssirr." I dragged. "Serayah wake up." I said as I looked back and shook her a lil and she ain't even move.

"Omg, she sleep so heavy." I said getting out car and Semaj did too.

"Serayah come on." I laughed as I shook her again and she woke up with a mug on her face.

"I wanna go to sleep." She whined.

"So you don't want crab legs-never mind." She smiled as she got out the car and held my hand.
