I was on my last client today which made me nervous because the time is getting closer that I have to talk to Avontae.
After I was finished he paid up front and I cleaned up my area. I was not ready at all for this conversation I was about to have but it needs to happen.
Once I was finished it around 10 o'clock. I left to get something to eat first before I went over his house to get Serayah.
I got out my car going up to the door. I really could've just been walking in his house since I have a key. I didn't want to go through the awkward greeting so I went ahead and used the key.
"Mommy." Serayah dragged running to me hugging my leg.
"Hey baby." I picked her up and walked further in the living room seeing him sitting down while Sofia the first was playing on the tv.
"She got you watching this." I laughed sitting down across from him.
"She been watching this all day." He said.
"Why she still up?" I asked.
"Daddy gave me candy." She cheesed.
"Really." I looked at him.
"She lying." He said dryly and I just shook my head.
"Serayah you wanna go to your play room?" I asked and she nodded her head as she ran to the room.
"So I need to talk to you." I said.
"Talk." He said.
"Why you sound like you mad?" I ask.
"Cause you been acting funny all day." He said and I took a deep breath.
"I been thinking a lot and I need time to focus on myself. I can't do this with you anymore." I said.
"What you mean you can't do this no more? We been doing good." He said.
"You just got mad at me over nothing. You be treating me like I cheated on you when it's the other way around." I said.
