After he put her back to sleep, he walked back into the living room grabbing his phone about to leave. He had a puzzled expression on his face that I knew too well.

"Avontae." I walked over to him.

"What." He looked at me.

"I'm not taking her away from you. You can see her whenever you want I just have to be there." I explained.

"You don't trust me?" He asked.

"I don't trust what you're surrounded with." I answered.

"If you take this to court this just gone mess with my case and I'm gone be gone for good. Would you rather her grow up with me being in jail or set off on boundaries so we can work this out." He said.

I wasn't even thinking about how he already has a court date coming up.

"That's not my problem you need to learn how to take care of your responsibilities and stop hanging with them niggas when they the reason why you even have to go to court." I said.

"You're not a teenager anymore you can't be doing careless stuff that'll cost you stuff like this. I'm not doing this out of spite or to hurt you I'm doing this because I care." I continued.

"I'll call you later." He mumbled and left.

He looked so sad but I don't get why. He acting like I said he couldn't see her at all. I guess I'll see how things workout first without court.

I think imma lay off of Jay for a while. He pissed me off making it seem like it was my fault. A situation like that ain't nothing to play about so of course I was gone address the issue after she was safe in the car.

Thought he was speaking facts when really he was saying bullshit. Like if he had a child, all hell would've probably broke loose so imma need for him to keep that same energy if it happens.

As for the lil creature that had shit to say, she had it coming and I don't regret it. I'll do it again I don't care. At first it wasn't like that but since she said it like she beat my ass it's a problem.

I continued making baked potatoes somebody repeatedly rang the doorbell like a crackhead. I opened the door and Trey invited his self in and sat down shaking his head. I shut the door and looked at him.

"What's wrong?" I asked.

"I fucked up." He said.

"What you do?" I asked.
