The first few months have been relatively hard for both Jennie and Y/N. They were used to being with each other 24/7, so this new set up was killing not only Y/N but Jennie as well.

Being in a huge entertainment company like YG was an opportunity of a lifetime and Jennie was one of the few lucky applicants who got accepted in it. Jennie said it's all about luck but Y/N always assure her that she has this amazing and exquisite talent that's why she got in.

She wasn't confident like the other girls so she got rejected a lot of times, but Y/N who constantly cheered her up made her the confident girl she is now. Y/N was like her personal coach who would always tell Jennie if she lacks something or what she needs to improve.

It was actually Y/N who found out that YG was having an audition and she didn't hesitate to tell her bestfriend who was at that time, too focused on her academic decathlon. It was impossible for the company to not like the girl. She was almost perfect for someone who hasn't done excessive professional training.

Jennie was also shocked when most trainees were kind and friendly towards her. She expected that she would be bullied in training and that's why she was hesitant to go here in the first place, because Y/N won't be there to protect her. She automatically made friends and she quickly introduced them to Y/N who was on her summer break before her first year in college. Jennie's love for music led her in meeting three wonderful human beings.

Y/N instantly loved the three girls who were spending most of the time with her bestfriend. Jisoo, who's addicted to computer games like her. Although she beat up Y/N's record in a certain game, the younger one is still very fond of her. Lisa, she was the clingiest one out of the three. She was also the first one whom Y/N felt comfortable with. They share the same interests in music and both were the crackheads of the group. The two troublemakers always find a way to argue over something, it's like Lisa was born to bicker with Y/N which sometimes annoy the others.

Rosé was the last girl that was introduced to Y/N. During the first weeks they spend with each other, she was Y/N's least favorite out of the three newfound friends of Jennie. She was the serious and the 'not so fun' aussie girl. Y/N was too intimidated by her because of how Rosé was looking at her. But as months passed by, Y/N learned to love the girl as well. Y/N didn't know that Rosé has developed a small crush on her that's why she was giving her this 'weird' look.

Y/N was finally an engineering student in a prestigious university in Busan. She used most of her time studying the structures of buildings and bridges. She didn't know that science and math would be this exciting. Being in college meant meeting different kinds of people but it doesn't mean that she's already forgotten her feelings towards Jennie. She wanted to tell her the truth but it will only distract her bestfriend. So what Y/N did was wait. She just wanted the girl to focus in training instead.

Y/N's POV

YG Entertainment announces debut of new girl group, Blackpink

The news spread out like wildfire and you were more than happy that Jennie and the girls were finally debuting after years of hardwork. The girls wanted to celebrate by grabbing some drinks at a local bar and you couldn't say no when they've invited you over.

All five girls were tipsy by the time the clock hit 11:30. Good thing they checked in at a nearby hotel so they won't be having a hard time hailing a cab in an ungodly hour.

You decided that all of you had enough drinks. Walking with four drunk girls at the side of the street was hard but you still managed to insert the hotel keycard in your room. Jisoo, Rosé and Lisa shared a room while you and Jennie were just across them.

After entering your room, everything went black.

The sound of your phone ringing woke you up and you let out a curse when you felt your head spin.

"Turn the fucking phone off!" You were startled to hear Jennie but the color on your face faded when you saw her naked body beside you. You quickly run towards the bathroom and locked yourself for an hour.

"Omygod, what did I do?" You tried to hit your head with your hand to remember the happenings last night but nothing popped out of your mind.

Jennie on the other hand was clutching the bedsheets against her bare chest. Her heart was breaking when she hears your soft whimpers inside the bathroom.

'I shouldn't have kissed her last night. She regrets it. Now, what we have is ruined' Jennie thought before putting on clothes and exiting the room.

It was the day the girls will be debuting and Jennie was still unsure if you will come. They have been waiting for this day to come and it was really important for her to see you.

It was ten minutes away before they step out on the stage when you called her name.

"Uh-hey Jen."

"Hi Y/N"

"I'm so proud of you, Nini" the nervous look on Jennie's face disappeared when you give her a quick hug.

"Y/N!!!!" The other girls almost knocked you out when they hugged you.

It still felt surreal how these four dorks made it. You saw how much sweat and tears they've shed in training and you couldn't be more proud of them. They've come this far and you promised yourself that you will support them until the end.

"Girls, places!" Their manager shouted and I looked at Jennie and gave her a wink. I know that she somehow calms down when I do that to her. I always do that whenever she has a presentation in school or when she's about to sing on stage.

The lights were off, the screen that shows the faces of each member of the group was the only thing you'd see. And when Lisa was finally called, I knew then that they will dominate the world.

"Ladies and gentlemen, Blackpink!"
