"It's been a year Jennie! How long does your 'relationship' with him gonna last?!"

"I'm so sorry baby. Mr. Yang extended the contract because the fans loved it"

"Mr. Yang extended it because of the fucking money, Jennie!"

Y/N has been patient with her girlfriend but when Jennie told her that their CEO wants to extend her relationship with Kai for another year, that's when she lost it.

"You've missed a lot of dates, Jen. I let it pass when you didn't attend my graduation and forgot my birthday but this is getting out of hand. You've also ditched the girls when they wanted to hang out with you. Do you even know how many times I caught Lisa crying because she thought you didn't care?"

"I-I'm so sorry Y/N but you know I can't do anything. My hands are tied"

"Fine. Do whatever you want." Y/N slammed the bedroom door shut, leaving a sobbing Jennie behind.

Y/N's POV

I was on my seat waiting to be called on stage. Yes, I just passed the board exam for Civil Engineers and today is my oath taking ceremony. I looked at the back and saw my three friends, Jisoo, Rosé and Lisa whose faces were covered with a mask.

Wondering where my girlfriend is?

I don't know to be honest. I constantly reminded her about today's event and I even called her a bunch of times yet I was always directed to voicemail. I guess she's probably out with Kai right now.

My heart has been bruised way too many times, I lost count already. But god I am so inlove with her that I'd rather let my heart bleed than to let her go. She has always been my rock and I know deep inside that she will never intentionally hurt me.

"Congratulations unnie!" Lisa tackled me with a hug and smothered my face with kisses.

"Eww Lisa get off of me" I chuckled when I saw her pout as she pulled away.

"Have you heard from Jennie?"

"I called her Jisoo unnie but she's out of reach"

"Don't worry Y/N-ah, she's probably here hiding. We'll find her, okay?" Rosé gave me a reassuring look but I know her damn well, she's probably going to throw a fit to Jennie when she finds her.

"Agghhhh!!!" I screamed when I felt an arm around my neck and a hand on top of my head.

"You didn't even invite me to the ceremony you little devil!"

"I'm so sorry Jihyo unnie! I only had four extra tickets"

Jihyo and I grew extremely close. She was like the sister I wish I had and when I told her that I passed the board exam, she threw a party to our department.

"So, what did you do after?" She asked then released me from the headlock.

"I went home after."

"Wait, what?!"

"-I thought you'd grab dinner with the girls?"

"I wasn't feeling well"

"Cut the crap Y/N. You were okay the day before" sometimes I just wish that she will not catch up on my lies.

"Jennie didn't come" I heard Jihyo unnie curse while running her fingers through her dark locks.

"It's alright unnie. I'm used to this"

"But you're not supposed to get used to this Y/N! You're her girlfriend for fuck's sake!"

I couldn't tell her how lonely I've been these past few months because I don't want to come out as weak. I have always kept my problems to myself because I don't want to burden others but when I do let my feelings out, it means that I can't take it anymore.
