Jennie's POV

After a long and tiring practice for our next comeback, the girls and I went to my favorite café near YG. It's my favorite because Y/N and I usually hangout here, it was because of her that I got to know this place.

"Oh crap my whole body hurts!" Rosé complained and I can't imagine how painful her and Lisa's body are since they both have a dance break.

"Rosé?" Our heads turned towards the girl beside our table.

"Omygod Mina! How are you?" Roseanne stood up and hugged Mina. I hate how perfect this girl is, I mean my friends adore her.

"I'm perfectly fine"

"What are you doing here in this hour Mina?" Lisa said while scooting closer to her. Fuck, can't this day be over already?!

"I'm actually waiting for Y/N"

"Still working late hmm? She hasn't changed." Jisoo smiled and I remember how Y/N usually stay up til midnight to finish all her work. It was one of the few things I love about her, she's so dedicated and hardworking.

"Yeah, no matter how hard I tried to convince her to go home early, she just won't budge." I hear Mina sigh. I understand Mina perfectly, I mean Y/N won't even listen to me before.

"Anyway, I was thinking of throwing her a birthday party this friday and I was hoping you guys would come. I have invited our friends from work and since you are her family, she would very much appreciate it if you're there too." Mina looked at me and I swear to god I'm gonna punch her face. She doesn't seem to be bothered that I'm Y/N's ex because she treats me nicely or is it just an act?

"She hates a huge crowd." I mumbled and I felt Jisoo nudge my arm. I didn't know I said it out loud.

"Yeah, I know. I only invited her friends from Japan and you guys. The party will be held in my place so I really hope everyone would come" Mina smiled sweetly at me and I don't know if I should be happy about it.

"Hell yeah I'm in!" Lisa gave Mina a highfive. Can't Lisa be more mature? No wonder Roseanne loves her, aish!

"Yay! Give me your phone number Rosé so I could text you the time and the address" after Roseanne typed her number, Mina's phone vibrated and I saw that Y/N messaged her.

'Hey babe! I'm almost done with work. Wait for me at the lobby. Can't wait to see my girl. I love you'

I can feel my eyes tear up from the message and Rosé quickly gave the phone to Mina. Lisa who was sitting in front of me gave me a questioning look.

"Y/N just texted me. I need to go. I'll see you at the party, okay?"

"-oh don't forget to bring Ella. Y/N loves your daughter so much Jennie."

When Mina walked away, Rosie immediately gave me a hug.

"Are you going to the party with us Jendeukie?"

"I don't know unnie"

"Mina wants you to be there too. She's clearly okay with it. Why not try and who knows, you and Y/N might end up fixing things on her birthday."

"Okay"

It was friday night and the girls and I are on our way to Mina's house. It took me a long time to figure out what present I should give Y/N because to be honest, I don't know if the things she loved before are the things she love now.

"Are you okay Jen?"

"I'm fine Lisa." I'm glad that these girls are on my side despite of what happened between Y/N and I. I thought they will never forgive me, especially Rosé because I knew she had feelings for her back then.
