The early morning sun rose over the horizon scattering its light through the trees. A thin trail of smoke rose from the now dead fire in the center of the camp.

One certain tent placed at the edge of the camp with many other tents received the suns first rays. The couple inside it lay curled up holding each other close as they slept. The young dark haired daughter of Zeus rested her head on his bear chest. Strong arms wrapped around her waist, gently holding her close to him.

It was utterly and peacefully quiet, the only sound that could barely be heard was their breathing. Percy took in a deep breath as he slept, his chest rising more. Thalia, feeling his chest rise up more than usual, stirred and slowly opened her eyes.

She tilted her head to look up at the gorgeous man that lay holding her close. Although she feels cold when apart from him, she felt incredibly warm with him.

Thalia softly placed a kiss on Percy's chest but still he did not awaken. As softly as she could, she swings her leg over and straddles him. She gently placed her hands in his chest and leaned down to claim his lips. The kiss gave her the reaction she wanted from her boyfriend.

Percy grabbed his girlfriend and held her tightly in his arms as he returned the kiss with equal passion. Upon breaking the kiss, Percy's eyes went wide at his girlfriend's appearance.

The girl with the electric blue eyes and dark spiked hair, which grew past her shoulders, was on top of him. Clad in only a small cami dress of a dark blue and her panties underneath. The night dress looked like silk and the trim on the hem and bra was lace of lightning blue like her eyes. She looked so stunning Percy forgot what was going on for a second.

A smile grew on his face as he placed his hands on her hips. "Good morning, beautiful."

"Good morning, handsome." Thalia returned. She moved to the side and lay back down next to her lover. Percy too turned to face her and sea green stared into lightning blue.

Percy caressed Thalia's cheek softly as she leaned into the warmth his hand gave. "I'm sorry to ruin the mood." He says softly.

"What's wrong?" She asks as she grabs his hand on her cheek.

"I want to go speak to the gods." Percy sits up on the bed. He swings his legs over to the side to avoid seeing her face. A single expression from his girlfriend could keep him from completing this task.

"About what, Perce?" She reaches over to place a hand on his back.

"They locked themselves up on Olympus. Did you know they stopped claiming their children on Zeus' order?" Thalia looked at Percy in disbelief.

"What about you request?"

"Exactly my point, Thals. They're not keeping their word. It was a simple request they need to take seriously or the past is going to repeat itself."

"So that's why you're going?" Percy nods his head. Thalia released a sigh, "Fine. Go ahead and make sure you come back home early this time."

Thalia placed a kiss on Percy's cheek and let him get dressed to go. The demigod wolf was glad she didn't stop, but it also made it harder to leave.

After transforming into his wolf form, Jack went out of the tent and was greeted happily by his family. Each of the hunters wished him a happy birthday with bright smiles and excitement shining in their eyes. Jack forgot it was his birthday this month, let alone, today of all days.

In a sense, it broke Percy's heart that the task before had to be carried out today. Regardless, Jack thanked them all and greeted them with a wolfish smile.
