Truth be told, Thalia and Percy took advantage of their mini quest from Artemis. They used the whole month to spend time together and explore the states. It was basically a month long date, or maybe a kind of vacation.

Percy was able to revert to human form for a few hours a day to enjoy real dates with his love. He only risked a few hours at most in order to keep out of sight from any watchful eyes.

Most times they explored the states and forested areas in his wolf form. They guessed that the mortals saw the large wolf as nothing more than a dog. Some civilians who caught them walking the streets would actually ask to pet him.

They did succeed in their mission however, the dead zone they searched for was decently nearby. In the state of Texas lies a small forested area secured and kept safe by native tribes.

Along with the location found in Texas, Jack and Thalia found three other dead zones on their journey. One in Florida, Another in Ohio, and one surprisingly was in New York.

Monsters that dare to show up before them were utterly obliterated by the duo. Jack was relentless in his attacks against monsters and would never show mercy.

After the duo informed Artemis of their discovery, they went to train with Zoë. The lieutenant reluctantly agreed to train in swordsmanship under Percy. With Artemis' help they built an entire training ground just for them to use.

Sparing dummies, obstacle courses, a small track field, a cottage to reside in, a campfire, targets for range practice, and other activities for training were available. As such they would train for as long as they could before the prophecy begins to unfold on reality.

After many months of living in fear of when the next war would begin, Zeus ordered the gates to Olympus closed. The gods no longer visited their children and most of them stopped claiming them upon their arrival to camp.

Only a few of the gods subtly claimed their children, but Zeus' paranoia stopped them from visiting. Back to the same old bad habits. The same actions that caused demigods to despise the gods. All because Zeus felt his place on the throne was threatened.

The first day of August came quickly. Both Olympus and the demigod camps waited impatiently for the inevitable war to come. None knew when it would start nor in which form it would begin.

Percy knew it was all happening again. The gods, namely Zeus, had not kept their word to accept Percy's request. To visit the camps, claim their children, and change their ways.

In truth, it was quite infuriating. The world needs a change. The gods need to change. If he had to force it, Percy would do so as he had planned.

With the gods falling into worry and the camps into disarray, a drastic change was needed. Even if it involves a little bit of betrayal then so be it.

Without notifying Thalia or Zoë of his plans, Percy requested personal time for a task. He only told Artemis he would seek help to fight in the coming war. The goddess of the hunt was fond of the idea. She appreciated the young man's, in wolf form, earnest actions to help.

All were unaware of what Percy truly intended. All of his actions would lead to a future that would largely impact the world.

Jack bid farewell to his sisters and family promising to return as soon as he was finished. His first destination was Central Park in New York City. His goal, to grab the attention of a certain group of people he has recently heard of.

🔱

The large wolf with predominantly white fur arrived at the infamous park of New York. Strips of black fur decorated his body like tattoos. Now the opposite of what he first looked like when he turned.
