About two weeks. It took Percy about two weeks to get to San Francisco from the Wolf house for many reasons. The first being that Percy and directions on land don't mix well at all. He went in the opposite direction for about four days until a sign showed him he was actually getting further away from his destination. Second, he ran into a lot of demigods and spent a few days with them to help them survive. Finally, Percy learned how to vapor travel, albeit in an accidental manner.

He was thinking how he wished he could run around an opponent fast enough to get behind them. He practiced with trees but when he tried to run around one he vapor traveled behind the tree facing away from it. Sadly, he promptly passed out from exhaustion only to wake up a few hours later.

In order to vapor travel in a fight without passing out Percy tried traveling longer distances at first. He tried going from one end of a clearing in a forest to the other. At least a few miles long that he could see and he passed out for two days. Surprisingly, he wasn't eaten, killed, or kidnapped for the duration of his unconscious state. He practiced until it was as easy as breathing and it wasn't too taxing in his body. Like his cousin Nico, traveling long distances wears him out; very much so for multiple trips.

Upon reaching a large sign saying 'Welcome to San Francisco' Percy instantly remembered what it was he needed to know. After traveling for two weeks on land, he was sure that by this time summer was over so camp would be over for those who go home. In other words, Annabeth would be home with her father in the city where he currently was.

Percy smacked his forehead in annoyance. "What great luck you have Percy." He scolded himself. "Visiting the city where the most painful person lives at this time of year. Run away only to possibly run into her." He stated sadly.

The first thing the great Perseus Jackson, son of Poseidon, two time hero of olympus, did was jump off the bridge and into the water. He gained all his energy back and felt as if his reserves had grown larger. It felt like he had more energy than he could possibly use. However, Percy's reckless spontaneous action had a small issue, the ocean was Poseidon's domain.

Knowing his father would feel his presence, Percy quickly willed the currents to take him to shore. He looked back at the water longingly for a moment before steeling himself and leaving for his solo mission.

Up on Olympus Poseidon called an urgent meeting. He slammed his trident on the floor of the throne room twice, a signal for urgent meetings. Suddenly, all the gods appeared in flashes on their respectful thrones.

"Brother, what is this about? What is so urgent?" Zues asked surprisingly worried for his older brother.

Poseidon stared at his trident, sadness in his eyes with a slimmer of hope. "I felt him." He whispered.

Ever since Percy dissapeared about 2 months ago Poseidon changed for the worst. In simple terms he stopped caring. He became a depressed god of the sea, his eyes became dull and murky sea green. His family in Atlantis was shut out, he even told Amphitrite he hasn't loved her in centuries. The oceans would rage and storm for anyone who disrespected his domain and its creatures.

"Sorry uncle, we cant hear you." Apollo stated.

Poseidon looked up to his nephew, eyes filled with surprise. "I felt him. I felt Percy. He's in San Francisco, I'm sure of it." A small smile crept up on his face, the first since two months ago.

"Artemis," Zues called causing his daughter to stiffen. "Take your hunt and find Perseus to bring him back to Olympus. We have questions for him."

Artemis nodded, "Yes father, the hunt is close by we should be there by the evening." Zeus nodded to his daughter and she promptly flashed away.

Zeus may be one paranoid drama queen, but even he knows that a hero's fatal flaw is something they can't go against. Even the king of the gods knows Percy would never betray them. Olympus needs their hero to save them.

Their is one common misconception about our young Perseus, he is by no means stupid or a seaweed brain. Percy is an intelligent demigod, he just sucks at understanding certain situations and can be dense about common things.

Percy tracked down Lycaon's pack to a valley on the edge of a forest. His overall plan was established, his detailed plans for getting the werewolf curse was nonexistent. He grabbed a wooden stick from the ground and tied some white cloth to it to represent a white flag.

Lycaon's pack rested on some rocks in front of a large cave surrounded by tall grasses and a couple trees providing shade. Choosing this as the best chance Percy simply walks up to them flag up, head down. The hood casting a shadow on his face, no armor and giving the appearance that he doesn't wish for a fight. The wolves eye the dark haired demigod, both hatred and hunger visible in their eyes and heard in their growls. Regardless, the wolves leave a path leading to a large brown wolf with visible scars on its face and body.

Percy reaches a safe distance from the large wolf dropping the flag and outstretched his arms wide. The large wolf sheds his fur and in its place a man wearing animal skins stands with ferocity in his eyes.

"A demigod with the wish to die? How interesting." Lycaon muses with a cruel smile on his face. "You are either foolish beyond belief or brave beyond compare, young demigod." He adds, all humor replaced with hatred.

Just then Percy pulls down his hood and looks Lycaon directly in the eyes. "To keep it short and simple; Olympus betrayed me, my home looks at me with disgust, and the girl I once loved left me for another. I know I have no right to ask for anything but even then I want your permission to become a werewolf."

Lycaon cackles in disbelief, "You expect me to grant you my curse when your kind has killed many of my kin?"

"Maybe we can make this a mutual benefit to each other?" Percy sternly asks.

"What benefit is there in making a demigod  more powerful?"

"Lupa had blessed me with the ability to change forms at will if I get your curse, with that I can keep enemies away from your pack. A bridge of sorts, to make sure demigods know to stay away and the hunt respects your boundaries. In exchange, the gods can't find me and the monsters will stay away while I'm in wolf form. Sound like a good deal?" Percy held out his hand in anticipation for a peaceful end to things between Lycaon.

"Earn it." He states before walking away. "Follow and earn this curse demigod."

"It's Percy by the way. Just in case you want to know." He calls out following behind Lycaon.

Led to a clearing not far from the wolf cave, Lycaon stops and turns to face Percy. Large clearing with shorter grass, a small river barely visible, and a large lone tree off to the edge of the clearing but not with the forest that begins there. The wolf pack instantly surrounds them both in a circle causing Percy to tense slightly.

Alright well then, here goes nothing. Percy thought to himself as both of them launched themselves into a fight that could decide the future of demigods and wolves alike.

Muahahahahahaha take that cliffhanger suckers(I'm kidding, kinda) 😊
