The arena was packed with gods, minor gods, and other residents of Olympus. Of course Zeus wanted an audience for his own ego.
Percy prepared in advance. When he appeared behind the gate with his father, he was gifted Atlantean armor. His father left and Percy pulled the bots from his hoodie pocket.
The small robotic cameras were turned on and Percy silently prayed his request was obeyed. They flew around as he saw the cloaking technology hide them from view.
He placed the gorgeous armor over his shirt after taking off his hoodie. Gorgeous light armor of a beautiful deep ocean blue. Golden inlays and accents decorated the armor.
Percy walked out of the gate when it lifted to let him onto the arena. The Stark bots followed him silently but his heightened hearing helped him hear them.
Out on the arena, the crowd in the stands went wild while the gods looked on in silence. Their eyes focused on the pair for their battle. Even Ares and Athena knew this would be a battle that could not be taken lightly.
Percy appeared before Zeus about 12 feet apart. Zeus was clad in only a white tunic with gold accents and a small bronze chest plate. A sword hung from his hip while his bolt crackled on his back like a spear.
Percy readied his stance and grabbed out his trusty sword, riptide. Athena's eyes went wide when she couldn't recognize the stance. It was neither greek nor roman, it was completely different from anything she knew.
"Ares. What is that stance?" She asks her brother.
"Never seen it." He replied. "This might actually be a close fight, but I still can't see the punk winning."
Zeus took out his sword, a golden sword in the classical greek leaf form. A horn blared and the two launched themselves at each other.
Sparks flew as the swords clashed. Zeus had power which forced Percy to either parry or dodge his swings. Zeus however, was surprised by Percy's balance of power and incredible speed. The paranoid king quickly chose to consider Percy a threat to his throne.
The fight dragged on for a few minutes already and the crowd was still cheering. Both opponents had a few cuts visible on their arms. Zeus was growing angry and started to slack on his attacks leaving him open to Percy's counters.
The two charged each other and clashed swords where they kept trying to overpower the other. Percy loosened his grip letting Zeus slide a little before he turned and kicked Zeus back.
The thunder god bellowed in anger and reached for his bolt. Percy surprised the crowed when he formed another sword out of pure ice. He took another stance, this one much different than before.
One blade was held in a reverse grip placed horizontally in front of him. The other hand held riptide in a normal grip with the blade pointed at Zeus.
Again, Athena and Ares discussed the demigod's unusual stance. They argued where it was from or who he learned it from but came up with nothing. Athena couldn't stand not knowing, she needed to know.
The wisdom goddess quickly asked the demigod where the stance came from before his fight.
"Seriously? I'm fighting for my life and you want to know where I learned this stance from. For the love of blue cookies, lady, I created my own style."
The battle ensued once again as the two went at it. Sparks soared in the air. Zeus used his powers as he could, not even bothered to hold back at all. Percy was surrounded by a hurricane with icy shards around him.
A battle of strength and abilities went around slowly destroying the arena. Bolts struck the ground and shards of ice impaled the walls that Zeus dodged.
