When the world becomes shrouded in shadows,

creatures of the deep shall return to the shallows.

You of snow and ice will cross the border,

to obtain your vision of law and order.

Hidden from all eyes deep within their wood,

sisters remain until gods grow good.

Annabeth visibly struggled with the prophecy she heard in the throne room on Olympus last week. All the books ever read, memorized, and referenced could not give her a definitive hint into what the prophecy spoke of.

All creatures of the seas that threatened the world were locked away with Poseidon's power, deep at the bottom of Mariana Trench. The sisters in hiding are probably not yet hidden or simply unknown to anyone yet. The question is whether they are good or not. Why do they remain hidden until 'gods grow good'? Who is this being of snow and ice that has a vision of law and order? What border will they cross? The border from Canada? From Mexico? From another country? Is the ocean the border they intend to cross? A state border or the camp border?

Not to mention, what in Zeus' name will cover the world in shadows? Hades isn't a god mainly known for shadows. Nyx is the primordial of darkness and all things dark, but the primordials simply exist in recent times. Erebus is said to occupy the space in Tartarus. Tartarus himself is currently a prison realm for monsters, titans, and other beings waiting to reform. Who could it possibly be then?

The Athena cabin continued its bustling like the busy streets of New York. Her brother, Malcom, tried his best to help Annabeth decipher the prophecy and give his theories. Nothing fit perfectly, it was as if they were building a puzzle with the wrong pieces.

"Hey Malcom." Annabeth called. "Hand me the maps and let's get going. We need to show up with some kind of idea in mind."

"Right, I got them." Malcom made his way over to his sister. Her hair was put into a messy ponytail, stray strands of hair hanging in her face. He gathered the maps and other charts under his arm, Annabeth gathering a few scrolls and books under hers.

The daughter of Athena tucked some loose hair behind her ear reaching for the door. "Hopefully someone might see something we can't."

Malcom nodded his head in agreement. "Fresh pair of eyes, a new perspective could be what we need."

So, the cabin leader and her brother made their way to the big house for the first cabin leader meeting. The first since the campers were told of the new vague prophecy.

For once in camp history, all the cabin leaders and a few extras were present, yet quiet. The Stoll brothers knew this was no time for pranks and jokes with the possibility of another war. Clarisse held a harden gaze at the table. If looks could kill, the table would go up in flames from her viscous glare.

On the other end of the room, Chiron sat in his wheelchair ready to begin this meeting. "Come in. Sit." Malcom sat down while Annabeth put her material on the table. "What do you have for us my child."

Annabeth let out a heavy sigh. "I'm sorry, Chiron, we haven't found anything concrete. I was hoping someone else could see something we can't."

"I see." Chiron rubbed his chin thoughtfully. "A different perspective to find something from a different angle. What do you have so far?"

"In terms of the world and shadows, only Erebus or Nyx could be capable of wielding such power. The only thing is, the primordials are practically dormant, right?" Annabeth continues at Chiron's nod.

"Lord Poseidon has assured us all that the creatures are secured in their prison. He has offered to keep a close watch on the Mariana Trench. The sisters in hiding could be daughters of Nyx, but that would mean they don't need to hide just yet. We could look for them now but, we don't know if they are daughters of Nyx." Annabeth pulled out books and scrolls to support her theories, spreading them on the table.

"What makes you say such a thing, Annabeth?" Chiron inquired.

"With a question to everyone here." All heads, focused or not, turned up to look at the blonde demigod. "Why would they remain hidden until 'gods grow good'?"

No one had an answer for her question. She was right, if they were children of Nyx, there would be no need to hide. Especially so if they oppose the gods, then there is no need to wait until the gods are good, just destroy them. Identifying the sisters was a dead end at the moment, they needed more information.

Leo lazily spoke up, speaking his thoughts. "Then what about that snow and ice person? It could be Boreas, he doesn't really have a good relationship with Zeus."

"If it's anyone icy and of snow it would definitely be that crazy Khione. She fits the description well and if she's crossing a border, it could be from Canada." Many agreed with Piper's comment. Annabeth, however, was biting her lip in thought.

"No, I don't think it's her. Even if some can take law and order to the extreme, she's too selfish to care about others. As for the border that's going to be crossed, I brought maps and charts." Malcom began to hand out maps, passing them down to others. "Maybe if we all looked at them someone might see something no one else can."

For the next hour the cabin leaders fruitlessly searched for anything that could give them an idea. Any lead that could lead to identifying the person who will cross that border. Lines blurred together as the demigods looked over the maps and charts gathered before them.

"Ughh. I can't anymore." Leo whined. "Blueprints are one thing, but maps are killing my eyes. There's way too many lines. How are we supposed to know which line to look for that this person is crossing?"

"Wait, that's it." Annabeth stood staring directly at Leo. "This being is crossing a line, but it could be figuratively, like killing innocent people is crossing a moral line." Everyone's heads snapped towards the blonde's direction, they're crossing a line by doing something wicked.

Malcolm stood in realization to what his sister said. "Which means, in order to obtain their vision of law and order, they would do something of moral consequence."

Annabeth nodded to his statement in confirmation. That very possibility could very well be taken as a huge threat to Olympus, especially to Zeus. "That includes the fact that this person is definitely a threat to Olympus. They would overthrow Olympus in order to ensure, what they perceive as law and order, that vision would be obtained."

Chiron wheeled himself closer to the table, a dark expression on his face. "The question still remains, who exactly is this person? Snow and ice, who could it possibly be?" No one spoke as they all held thoughtful expressions trying to come up with some kind of idea. "Annabeth, I want the Athena cabin to search for any being of snow and ice. Search through as many libraries as needed, not just the greek mythical world." His last statement momentarily shocked the young demigod, she stopped in her tracks while gathering her materials. "Search them all, all pantheons, all myths, even newer myths and legends."

"Yes, sir." Annabeth responded with a strong nod. "Alright everyone, you heard him, we might be taking a few quests to some libraries. Everyone should definitely be training much harder if this person is going to be a threat to Olympus. Clarisse, make sure the lazy ones don't slack off, do what you want to make sure of it."

Chiron clapped his hands, ready to get to work. "Alright children, let's get to it, you know what to do. Dismissed."
