When time froze

Chapter 21

I watched as Havana's face spread with glee as she looked at our scared faces. I looked down at Luke's lifeless body, lay there in blood. I looked up at Havana and she looked at little scared but then her face went back up with glee.

"What did you DO!?!" Carl said/yelled at her.

"He got in my way" Havana replied calm voice.

Carl looked at her and started to go at Havana with his knife in his right hand. she held her knife tighter in her hand and got ready for Carl to try to stab her. Carl stabbed Havana in the arm and I quickly ran in between the two.

"STOP...STOP...STOP!!!!" I yelled while running in between the two. Carl pushed me back onto the ground and went after Havana again. Leslie ran between the two, after I fell, and pushed Carl away from Havana. Havana punched Leslie in the side of her face so Havana could get to killing Carl. Leslie turned around and smacked Havana and Havana's face went to the side along with her body. Carl pushed Leslie to the side and and threw himself over to Havana. Kat tripped Carl and Pushed Havana down. Carl crawled quickly over to Havana and cut her leg. Havana stood up and Carl along with her. I got up and tried to grab Carl's knife. he turned to his side so I reached my arm to try and grab it but he shoved me away with his right arm.

Kat tackled Carl down. i turned over to see that Leslie had punched Havana out cold. I was breathing heavily and also in relief that the fight was over. Kat got off of Carl and they both stood up. Carl dusted dirt off of himself. he looked at Kat with disappointment and walked away. we looked a each other while breathing heavily. the twins looked scared and ran off and into their RV. I looked at Paige and she just walked away along with Justin and Isaac. Leslie started to walk off But I stopped her by saying "wait." She looked at me and answered "what?."

"Can you help drag Havana's body to her tent?" I asked.

"No" Leslie said then started to walk away.

"Really" i whispered to myself then rolled my eyes and picked havana up by putting my arms in her arm Pitts and lifting her upper body part up and dragging her legs on the ground. I dragged her to her tent and laid her on her mat she slept on. I walked out of her tent, after laying her down, and zipped up her door. I walked over to the swing set they had in the campsite and sat down on a swing. I lightly pushed my feet off the ground to give me a swaying on the swing.

"Browns Town" I heard coming from the side of me. I looked over and Carl was walking over to the swing. he sat down on the swing next to mine.

"What?" I asked as he sat down.

He looked at me and said "that's the name of the campsite....Browns town."

"How do you know that?" I asked.

His eyes started to tear up and he looked down at his feet "um....i uh saw a sign" he said almost crying. he wiped away his tears that started to roll down his cheek.

"Luke told you, didn't he" i said then looked down at my feet.

"Ya" he said still not looking at me and then started to cry.

"I am sorry....I don't know what Havana was thinking" I said.

"It's not your fault, don't apologize" Carl said in a rude tone "and Havana wasn't thinking...just being stupid."

"Hey, Havana did not know what she was doing...don't blame it all on her" I said to him in a slight rude tone and mumbling the last part to myself also looking at him.

"Don't defend her" he slightly yelled at me.

"Well no else is."

"That's because she killed my older brother."
