When time froze

Chapter 23

Carl laid on the couch as Kat laid on top of him. he wrapped his arms around her waist and she wrapped her arms around him. once we walked in they stopped kissing and looked at the two of us, standing in the door way. I looked over to Leslie and her face was shocked and angry.

"Get up!!" Leslie said in a rude, mean tone. Kat climbed off of Carl and stood in front of Leslie.

"Oh I am sorry" she said in a fake sad voice, then she looked over to Carl who was siting up and then she looked back at Leslie with a grin "for what it's worth I didn't take him....he came to me." Leslie punched her in the noise. Kat covered her noise once Leslie punched it.

"FUCK YOU!!!" Kat said then swung at Leslie. Kat got the side of Leslie's face. Leslie tackled her to the ground and then Carl screamed "STOP!!!." They stopped and looked up at him. then they stood up.

"You guys don't have to fight over me, god" he said in a serious tone.

Leslie looked at me and we started to laugh our asses off. "what?" Carl asked looking confused along with Kat.

We continued to laugh and Kat and Carl looked at each confusedly. Leslie stopped laughing and looked at Carl. "I am not kicking her ass because of you" she said.

"Kicking?" Kat said to herself along with a small, fake laugh.

"I am kicking her ass because she tried to set the camp on fire and kill all of us" Leslie said.

Kat and Carl looked at each other and started to laugh there asses off. wow today was just laugh day wasn't, I thought to my self.

"What?" Leslie asked with a confused look.

"You think Kat tried to set the camp fire!" Carl said then bursted out laughing again.

"Well didn't she?" Leslie asked again with a confused look.

"No!!....and it's adorable that you think I would do that" Kat said after she was done laughing.

"Wait, then why where you out there with Isaac?" Leslie asked.

Kat looked at her with a serous look "what are you talking about Leslie?....did you fall on your head while running around like a child" she said.

"I saw you standing next to Isaac when he set the fire."

"Um check again....i was with Carl when the fire started."

"Probably getting laid" I said to my self. I think Kat heard because she glared at me.

"But I saw y-" Leslie stopped her sentence and looked at her feet with a shocked face. I heard her mumble to her self "heckler."

I Leaned down to her face level and said "what?."

She looked up at Kat with a surprised but realizing face, then she said louder this time so we could all here "Heckler." I stood up looking confused along with the two of them.

"What?" Kat asked.

"It was the heckler twins!!" Leslie yelled. "Well at least I think because I only saw one of them."

"What about Paige?" Carl asked.

"No...no Paige was dragging Havanas body out of the camp!!.....i remember now that I saw Paige and Justin drag Havana out and I only saw one person with Isaac as the fire started" Leslie said.

"Well good for you Sherlock" Kat said sarcastically.

"Well at least Sherlock could find out a crime before getting laid" Leslie replied.

Kat death stared her and started to clench her fist. she was about to punch her but Carl stopped her by grabbing her clench fist and looking her straight in the eye then whispered in her ear "don't...not the time."

She released her tight fist and relaxed her hand then she continued to hold Carls hand. Leslie was still figuring out other things of what she saw.

"So well what do we do now?" Kat asked.

"I don't know...lets walk around I guess" I replied.

"Ok" Kat said with a bright smile, showing teeth. wow that's the first, I thought to myself. We walked outside and walked down the street.

I stood next to Carl and Leslie stood on the other side of me to stay away from Kat. Kat still held Carl's hand and she seemed to be more happy then usual.

"So how did this happen?" I asked Carl while pointing at there held together hands.

"Oh um the uh night the fire set.....we where walking a night walk down the street and uh I...um asked her to be my girlfriend and she agreed so...uh Ya" Carl replied while stuttering and sounding unsure. He looked over at Kat with a fake, unsure and awkward smile then looked back at me.

"*cough cough* key word *cough cough* for getting *cough cough* laid" Leslie said to me, with fake coughing.

We continued to walk through Atlanta seeing all the people stand still and all the green trees Georgia had. as we walked around Kat and Carl did the cute couple talk that annoys the shit out of me, Leslie, and I thought Carl. We started talking about what we usually talk about.

"What would you do if the zombie apocalypse started right now?" Leslie asked. its our daily conversation starter.

"I would try to find a house to stay in and try to find some weapons" Kat replied.

"I'd help her most likely" Carl said.

"I'd get the hell out of Atlanta" Leslie said.

"I'd...um...run until I broke a leg probably....even then I would most likely crawl.....or I'd go and a find a walking dead set, to live on" i said.

"Ya" Carl and Leslie said at he same time.

"Knowing you" Carl said.

They continued to talk and I kinda ignored them and looked at the crowds of frozen people everywhere. I was looking down the street at one person when out of the corner of my eye, I saw another person move. I quickly turned my head in the direction I saw it from. there was to many people that I couldn't find out witch one moved, then the person moved there right arm.

"Shh" I said then I ducked behind a car and ducked with me.

"What?" Leslie whispered to me while we hid behind the car, peeking through the passengers window and the drivers window.

"I saw someone move" i whispered to them still looking through the window.

"Your crazy...no ones moved" Kat whispered loudly to me.

I looked at the person and squinted my eyes. they moved again then stood still.

"There!...look she just moved" i whispered loudly to them with excitement.

"Scoot over" Leslie whispered to me. then I moved a little over, just enough so she could see through the window and I was still covered.

She looked at him for a while and the Kat slipped. she was crouching down on her feet and she slipped. Then the girl turned her head at us and booked it down the street. I got up quickly and ran after her.

"ARIA!!" Carl yelled at me. then they got up and followed me. I followed her to the end of the street then she took a turn into a building and once I got to where she turned i opened the doors and she wasn't there.

"Aria, what the hell" Leslie said while running up beside me.

I was out of breath and tried so I just looked at where I thought she went.

"Guys" I heard Carl said with a shaking voice. I ignored him and just continued to breath heavily.

"Guys!" He said louder.

I turned around and said "what?!?."

His face was shocked with fear and so was Kats. they looked up a little and right past my head. I turned to Leslie who was hitting me lightly on my arm trying to get me attention and saw that she was looking down the road as well. I turned to see what they where looking at and I saw a tsunami of white fog coming our way.
